Staff were very helpful.
I was rented a room at the Cambria Hotel Philadelpia Downtown Center City without any air-conditioning during a stay when the outside temperatures were in the upper 90's, resulting in a room temperatures of > 83 degrees. This was an unusable room during the day, and nearly impossible to sleep at night. I made the hotel aware of the problem on DAY 1 and all other days of my stay and the issue was not resolved even after two visits from the hotel engineer (one at nearly 9pm at night), and multiple calls to the front desk. The engineer, on the second visit, stated that the compressor was broken. They claimed the hotel was full, thus I was not able to be accommodated with another room. I was promised a call from management which never happened, and promised compensation by the front desk staff which also never happened. I have left several vm messages for Cinquetta Worrell (operations manager) and she will not respond back. I was told by staff that the room should not have been rented as it was clear the AC wasn't working in that room prior to my stay, but they allowed it to be rented anyway. I was also told by Choice Hotels Customer service that my complaints resulting in engineer visits to my room should have been documented, which they were not. Cinquetta, return my call.

Stanza poco pulita e check-in obbligatorio troppo tardi nel pomeriggio
This is a solid 3 star hotel. Few amenities, but clean, comfortable and serviceable.
Bed was great. Only issue was they didn't clean the room or leave coffee for the next day.
Our room was cramped and poorly designed. There was one 12 inch rod for all hanging cloths, which was not even enough space to take our clothing out of our hanging bags.. No dresser. No table. No chair. No overhead lighting, so the room was very dim. No little amanitioes in the bathroom. The best thing about our stay was the staff - every single person was extremely nice and efficient.
The location was perfect! Within walking distance to everything.
The housekeeping was something else. Every day we had to ask for clean towels and rags and toilet paper. They were supposed to clean the room every 3 days but that never happened. The front desk staff were amazing though! They helped us with this problem.
They told me I didn’t pay for my reservation and I sat there over an hr trying to get to the bottom of it when I pd a month in advance missed half of the occasion I came there for to tell me someone with the same name as mine cancelled and they had us mixed up, the fact that the manager, and staff kept brushing me off saying it was nothing they could do without trying, I will never go back nor refer anyone to there overpriced hotel
-Location was perfect and walking distance to so many points of interest and the Tour Bus had a stop right access the street which was so convenient.
-The room was amazing! Spacious, bright, amazing views, comfortable bed, nice seating area by window, office space, big bathroom, lots of storage, beautiful decor.
-Lobby was so comfortable and luxurious
You will have to walk a little to find a grocery store.
