Hotel El Alfoz de Burgos

Wouldn’t stay here again. Restaurant was fine as was service. Room old and tired looking with mould in the bathroom. Beds not comfortable.

Dodgy staff but excellent location

chambre spacieuse, climatisée et calme. juste un petit manque de propreté dans la salle de bain : poussières, toiles d'araignées.
restaurant pour repas et petit dej parfait, bonne qualité et prix abordables.

Por el precio que nos ofrecieron la habitación estaba aceptable...

j'en attendais pas grand chose, je n'ai pas été déçu...motel de bord d'autoroute, avec lit qui grince, poussières et moisissures dans la salle de bain.. sans compter le contacteur général pour la lumière qui se déboite tout seul et donc on se retrouve dans le noir..

A big thanks to the staff who checked us in at 1am after we'd been stuck in snow for several hours. Room was comfortable and clean. A perfect stop on route to the Santander ferry.

Mal olor del baño

En total la experiencia tuvo altas y bajas , tema recepción a mejorar, sin embargo el trato en su cafetería fue excepcional tanto a la hora de desayunar como en la cena. Y en limpieza muy bien el trato de la chica de la limpieza , muy atenta en todo momento ya que llegamos un poco antes.

The hotel is tired and smells of smoke as you enter-the rooms are stark but the bed is comfortable- the loo was running all night long and the music playing full blast until 3.15 am-not a disco-ten times worse than that plus some very loud dogs barking prior to music starting. I didn’t sleep and blocked my door with a chest of drawers as I didn’t feel very safe in the hotel alone. I found a member of staff sleeping on the sofa (lying down) during the middle of the day in the guests accommodation area which made me feel very nervous. The breakfast was greasy and very expensive for two eggs and bacon. I definately would not stay here again and neither would I recommend to anyone .

On check-in we were told we had to pay 5 euros more than we had been told we had to pay by
Hotels.com on arrival. The unfriendly man on Reception said he did not speak English and although we speak some Spanish he insisted we pay his price or we couldn't check-in. We paid by card and then contacted Hotels.com who immediately phoned the Hotel. The unfriendly and rude Receptionist then gave us back 5 Euros in cash without any apology. I wonder how often this happens? The room was tired and tatty but warm. Cafeteria food good and good location for stopover to Santander Ferry but we wont be staying there again!

Très bien pour toute la famille.

Accept les chiens.
Tout est à disposition.
Très grande chambre familiale.
Très bon restaurant.
Point faible, proche de la route, pas d'eau chaude et climatiseur hors fonction.

The location is perfect for a stop over en route to southern Spain.
Restaurante is friendly.
Rooms are very clean.
Car parking is very secure.
