I’ve never been so misled by a hotel’s user rating before—I think Booking should really check this property.
The room and bathroom were full of mold, with a strong musty smell. It’s impossible to sleep because of the noise from outside.
Maybe it was just my room, but I doubt it. Avoid room number one—the closest to the reception. Besides the mold, it’s right by the street, where cars accelerate uphill, creating constant noise that makes it impossible.

Estaba decorado con mucho gusto. Tenía radiador y chimenea y las camas muy grandes.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was worried about travelling to La Paz as a solo female, but the hotel arranged an excellent airport transfer for me on request and welcomed me at 3 AM. I felt very safe walking around the neighborhood. The room was large, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel itself is very cute and comfortable to rest and acclimatize to the altitude. I liked it so much I booked a second stay after my multi-day trip outside La Paz.
The walls are thin and I could not always get hot water.

Excellent location for our business meetings in La Paz - very close to ministries with lots of great bars, cafes and restaurants within an easy walk. Plus loved the garden, the restaurant (felt like eating in a family kitchen) and the comfortable rooms.
Hot water took some work!
