Pros:

The Loft is centrally located and was very clean. I was in town for a funeral and I had just driven up from Shreveport. I went upstairs to see if perhaps they had an area I might be able to change and freshen up a bit. Joy was cleaning another room an dropped everything and cleaned my room. I can't thank her enough. I highly recommend ‘The Loft”.

Very subpar accommodations. It would be such a great place if it was rehabbed.
Pros:

Location is great. Especially now that there are restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Cons:

The room is in bad shape with water damage, holes in the ceiling and walls. The window AC is so dirty that we didn’t want to use it.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend!
Pros:

Parking right in front of door. Host so easy to work with. Price comparable to hotels in town. Very historic. Bed was very comfortable! Was quiet at night, no disturbances.

Cons:

There is a flight of stairs to be aware of if you have physical limitations. Just had to take it slow!

I hate to complain but shower very small. Could not move in it. Would have loved a tub shower but loved it anyway ❣️

I would highly recommend this stay if you're looking for something a bit more unique.
Pros:

The room was very nice and had a classic country style esthetic that really made you feel more at home. The beds were large and comfortable. The owner/staff was friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

Water pressure was a little low and it took a while for the shower to get hot.

I’ve found my new home away from home when I stay in Magnolia.
Pros:

Clean, good bed, and simple to get in and out at a great location… what’s there NOT to like about The Loft.

Cons:

I have nothing bad to say. Even though the shower gel and shampoo contraption wasn’t working, you still had a backup for it.

The Loft with great comfort and uniqueness.
Pros:

Better then a regular hotel, good cold AC window units keep both room nice and cold. Beds and pillows comfortable. Snack area good drinks and kitchen amenities a great touch.

Cons:

Water pressure low in shower, not much seating area, and small tv.

Impressive historic hotel on 2nd floor above shops at the square. It was worth climbing stairs! LOL
Pros:

Very unique and beautiful historic property! I love the special touches in the room like robes, extra towels, plenty of pillows, and the beds were comfortable. The text reminder with code for door was great, and nice and friendly welcome. Thank you for the explanation of juice, milk, coffee, snacks, cereal, etc. The small kitchen area was set up nicely, and convenient. The AC units worked really well as I was a bit worried about it being an older hotel and upstairs. It was in the 90s and very hot outside but nice and cool in the rooms. We stayed in the family suite. The bathroom was huge, too! I enjoyed the decor and nice, high ceilings - really impressive!

Cons:

We did not have a problem but I didn't realize there were a lot of stairs and no elevator. It was probably in the property description but I didn't see that. It was okay and I should have researched it a bit more. I will say that it was fine since we only stayed one night and light on luggage. It would have been a chore to lug a heavy suitcase up stairs though.
