Très calme et reposant car bien isolé du château ce qui donne l’impression d’être chez soi mais les équipements ne sont

J’aime le fait qu’il soit un peu isolé du château.

Cons:

Je trouve que les équipements en chambre ne sont pas suffisant. Pas de mini bar , ou de machine à café dans la chambre. La literie n’était pas confortable, 2 lits rapprochés pour faire un lit double qui s’affaissait au milieu

Mooi maar gedateerd pand op wandelafstand van het kasteel. Ontbijt mochten we nuttigen in het kasteel, dus dat was super. Super stille en rustige locatie, dus goede nachtrust

Pand heeft opfrissing nodig en vervanging van meubilair dat beschadigd is (zetels met gaten erin, gordijnen waarbij de voering losgekomen is,...)

Ontbijt was in orde, uitstekende ligging

Cons:

Een kamer die ze verkopen op hun website met airco maar die afgekoppeld is. Door de hete zomer en stralend weer was het er heel warm. De Manoir is voorbije glorie en heeft dringend renovatie nodig. Is ook niet bijzonder goed onderhouden. Heel spijtig want het is nochtans een prachtig pand. Staat momenteel wat verloederd en in feite mogen ze de kamers niet meer aan gasten aanbieden. Hebben de niet werking van de airco gemeld maar receptionist in kwestie, legde het naast zich.

The location is excellent, and we really appreciated the historic character of the property. However, there are several areas that could be improved.

Upon arrival, our room had not been properly cleaned: there were belongings from previous guests and rubbish, suggesting that the room had not been inspected before check-in. Our building was also quite far from the main reception.

The historic interior is charming and worth preserving, but the furniture and room amenities are very dated and would benefit from renovation and replacement. The breakfast selection was limited, with flies and ants around the food area.

Hopefully, these points can be addressed, as the property has great potential.
