Great mini break.
Pros:

Very good location with super friendly staff.

Cons:

Our bedroom was on ground floor as requested, but we had the garden furniture very close to our window, which meant unfortunately that we had fellow guests sitting talking late into the night (11.30pm) and early in the morning (5.30am) as they walked their dogs avoiding the heat of the day. Two women guests then sat on a bench chatting immediately outside our window, when there were plenty of empty chairs in the garden 🤷🏻‍♀️ i did ask the hotel if the benches could me moved to avoid , but I was told by the front desk this was not possible!

Beautiful location and outside. But not so good elsewhere
Pros:

Great location. Friendly staff. Nice garden.

Cons:

A bit rundown inside, e.g. mouldy sash windows with flaking paint. Some public areas need more cleaning, e.g. sticky doors and tableware.
Common areas smell of stale cooking, like an old people’s home.
Rooms aren’t cleaned fully daily. Also problems like huge cobwebs with loads of flies and grimy carpets - so not thoroughly cleaned at intervals either.
Pillows are incredibly uncomfortable, like thin planks. Bring your own!

Really memorable stay with family.
Pros:

Beautiful grounds and very comfortable rooms in a great location. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great food!

Cons:

The dining room wasn’t set up for the hot weather & not all rooms had air conditioning. We gave up on using the wifi as it wasn’t reliable & heard the same thing from other guests.

Disappointing
Pros:

Location

Cons:

We have always loved this Hotel but it is now looking very tired, rooms with big cracks in walls. Lower corridor smells of dogs. Breakfast is buffet style whereas you used to get a lovely freshly cooked breakfast.

A fantastic stay surrounded by nature! Highly recommended
Pros:

Forest Park Country Hotel & Inn is an absolutely fantastic place! The location is stunning, completely immersed in nature and surrounded by the beautiful local horses. The property itself is gorgeous, and the rooms are beautifully decorated and super well-kept.
The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. Another huge highlight was the breakfast—it was absolutely delicious with a massive and well-stocked buffet. We loved everything about this place and will definitely be back!

Excellent room with everything and more to make an enjoyable stay in a brilliant location.
Pros:

Great location. Nice breakfast.

Cons:

On check out it would have been nice if the receptionist had said a little more than ‘thanks’ when given back the room key such as ‘ did you enjoy your stay’! All other staff very friendly and welcoming.

Pros:

The location and the garden is pleasant

Cons:

The menu in the bar was very uninspiring and limited. Every night at least one item was not available and it seemed that the specials offered were often what was left from the previous evening. It was however very expensive.
We paid for a superior room but it seems it wasn't as superior as others. Other superior rooms had a sofa or two armchairs as well as a desk chair, ours only had a desk chair. On querying this we were told that the size of the room denotes whether it is superior or classic but given there was no room for even one armchair it obviously should have been a classic.
