Our room was very warm, even tho there was a fan. The carpet seems to be a little dated now, but still loved it there.
Beautiful building and prime location
It was way too hot. We couldn't sleep and the fan provided offered little release. Expensive hotel to have such a poor night's sleep. Also pillows too big

Property was lovely. Gorgeous location. Birthday card provided for my partner was a nice touch. Also very dog friendly which was great. All the staff were absolutely lovely.
The TV in the room didn’t work and there was no air conditioning (there was a fan provided) and I was slightly disappointed there was no fridge in the room. Bar service was very slow as there was only one gentleman on the bar (he was very polite but could see he was under pressure). I ordered Caesar salad for dinner, with chicken. This came without the chicken. I asked for chicken and this was provided, I offered to wait at the bar instead of it being bought to me as I could tell they were understaffed. Very lovely hotel but evidently very short staffed and for the price I didn’t think it justified it. Over £300 for one night is a lot, and I think there are certainly improvements to be made in this sense.
Beautiful location - stunning garden which made for a lovely alfresco meal. Close to beautiful walks (with lots of roaming horses). Friendly and helpful staff made it a very welcoming place to visit and we plan to return. We upgraded to the suite which was fabulous - wonderfully comfortable bed and a great view from the balcony.
Beautiful setting and the staff were so friendly. We was made to feel welcome and nothing was to much trouble.

Lovely hotel with plenty of character, spacious garden to the rear, very dog friendly.
The bedrooms were very hot (middle of August) small fans in room didn’t do much.

The location was great, the staff lovely, very comfortable spacious room considering there was 3 of us. Gorgeous outdoor lawn area for eating and drinking.
