Beautiful hotel, friendly, polite staff, excellent breakfast and comfy beds.
Good games for the children and a lovely garden to relax in.
We had 2 room (we are a family) and the rooms were on different floors.
Not all rooms had air conditioning and it was almost impossible to sleep in the room which didnt have it.
Only BBC 1 and 2 available on tv as other stations were pixilated, so unwatchable.
Very low water pressure in one room, with water dribbling out of tap.
Toaster not working properly (staff aware) and toast fell out of the back of the toaster onto the table. This was not very hygienic and you risked being burnt retrieving the toast. There was no warning sign regarding this.
The staff were exceptional, super efficient, extremely polite, food superb had plenty of gluten free options, manager and staff extremely professional
There was nothing to dislike,
Amazing location - stunning setting, wildlife at the door. Great room and grounds were lovely
No AC but wasn’t expecting any as it’s not befitting really, we stayed over the heatwave and whilst it was hot we had open windows and three fans were provided
The garden is lovely, location is great and the bar is good too. Rooms are comfortable. Good variety of biscuits in room. Some food was great and others quite bland.
Bedrooms don’t have a fridge or aircon. Our room didn’t have a phone and when I mentioned this to reception they said it should do but didn’t resolve. The night manager did give me his mobile number for emergencies. The WiFi didn’t work on the bedroom tv and WiFi bad in general. Some staff were very nice (bar staff) but others were quite rude, no one wanted to serve us at breakfast and our children were getting restless. We had to ask to be served in the end. Various bits broken in bedroom and holes in cot bed blanket. No one asked how our stay was at check out.
Beliggenhed
Everything about the hotel is amazing, cleanliness, staff, location and food.
Unfortunately couldn't enjoy a bath in the amazing tub, as the plughole was leaking. But we informed reception who hopefully got it sorted for the next guests.
Most things.
I found the mattress uncomfortable!! I think it is time to replace.
Location in the Forest, lots of character.
Good food and friendly staff.
No handles in the shower for elderly person to support themselves.
Location, car parking, easy to walk into the forest
Bathrooms could be better
The location and the room on the ground floor for my elderly parents. Breakfast was nice. Customer service was good
We booked 2 rooms at equal cost. The ground floor room which my parents had was a good size with access to the gardens but the walk in shower didn't have any hand holds so it was difficult for them as this was meant to be for people with a disability. Our room was in the new wing and seemed much smaller. It was also difficult to sleep due to the high temps in the room as the new wing has a flat roof and the rooms have no air conditioning
Didn't have breakfast
Can't think of anything
buona
niente tutto bene
Lovely hotel & garden area. Good location for walks.
Unfortunately the bed was uncomfortable.
Room was not what we paid for .
Guy knocked on door, then unlocked the door and came in with both of us in the room within seconds asking if we needed room service.
We Stayed here for 2 nights in a family room. We had a fantastic experience! The location is perfect right in the middle of a beautiful forest, making it peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with plenty of choice, and everything was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel really welcome throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend and happily stay again!
