Excellent breakfast
The hotel is a little tired in places, but the superb staff more than made up for this.
Cosy hotel, nice decor lovely big family room with a separate area for children.

It was a nice location and pleasant staff. Parking was easy and reception staff friendly and relaxed. Room was a decent size for the family. Breakfast was adequate but a little limited cereal-wise and some additional jams and things would have been nice. Outside area was really stunning with all the seats and areas to walk.
The room was a good size but the thick wooden shutters on the windows were annoying and trying to get some fresh air and open the window was tricky. Taller people need to watch their heads in the family room with the twin beds as the roof alcoves are low. Felt a bit dated in parts.
L'hôtel, bien situé au coeur de la New Forrest, offre un jardin somptueux et un intérieur au charme quelque peu désuet. Il était très calme, de jour comme de nuit, et les repas étaient excellents (cuisine primée). Le petit déjeuner buffet était très complet et délicieux. Le parking (inclus) est généreux. Le personnel était accueillant et coopératif.
Quelques faiblesses au niveau de l'équipement, un peu vieillot. Nous avions deux chambres (pour deux adultes et une enfant de 12 ans). Problème de douche qui arrosait toute la salle de bain de l'une, bruits d'eau divers et persistants dans l'autre. Difficulté également d'utiliser l'électricité; l'hôtel ne disposait pas d'adaptateur UK -> UE adéquat. Je retiens qu'il vaut mieux s'en équiper avant de traverser le channel.
Perfect location, brilliant friendly attentive staff
I think a few small details within the rooms would go along way if improved. Conveniently located sockets, not lumping them all in one place and for example having a full length mirror with no socket near by in the “hallway”, a mini fridge, holes from pictures which have been moved or removed not filled properly
Location was great and staff were very helpful and attentive. Bed very comfy and I will be switching to a Dyson hairdryer after using the hotel’s!
A little more variety with the evening menu would be good but food was excellent.
Location, staff was lovely and helpful. Hotel was clean and peaceful. Family room was a good size too.
Breakfast could have had bigger portions, room was dated and housekeeping forgot to replace our towels once.
Great location for exploring the New Forest we had a lovely room with great facilities and a fresh cooked breakfast also very nice evening meals, very good helpful staff we had a very enjoyable stay.

Nice hotel, tastefully decorated. Garden looked lovely. Room was an adequate size, nice and clean. Breakfast had a good selection. Staff friendly. Looked as though you could hit the trails straight from the hotel.
Shower a little lack lustre and our room did overlook the road but the road was quiet.
It was located in excellent position to access everything that Brockenhurst and surrounding areas had to offer.
