Old fashioned, not for someone wanting mod cons. If you like charm and old fashioned quirkiness this is perfect.
Lovely staff, nice clean room with comfy beds. For an old hotel I couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay. Shared bathrooms were clean and easily accessible.
Location
Nothing
old world charm
price wasn't representative of the amenities or features provided, but I guess it is a "tourist town"
bed was very comfy - room was clean perfect for our night stay in healesville to attend a concert
Location great
One of the ladies bathroom out of order so couldn’t be used
Clean sheets
No WiFi, no heat in the bedrooms, the bathroom was shared by everyone on the floor, dirty bathrooms.
we didn't stay for breakfast as we travelled for my stepsons wedding, the brides family put on a breakfast do in the morning after the wedding, so therefore i cannot comment on this.
The staff were incredibly polite helpful and friendly.
The room was clean and the bed incredibly comfortable.
The sink in our room was blocked and there was not a mirror in the room so that my wife could do her make-up.
For the price an ensuite bathroom would have been appreciated, instead of having to use incredibly dirty shared ablution facilities, although this may reflect on the cleanliness of other customers rather than the staff or the property itself.
There was a very poor rock band playing the night we stayed and this i feel led to an influx of some less than desirable clientele in the bar area, most of whom left as soon as the band finished, with what I think were only the regulars staying till close ( these patrons were a much nicer crowd of people)
The price for the rooms was outrageous considering we had to be evacuated from our home due to bushfire
Very comfy bed
The property was clean and very central and quiet when we visited 😊
Probably the only downside was the bathroom on the first floor and no lift access as I was travelling with my grand children I had to leave the room for the bathroom through the night and our room was on the second floor.
Good beds, clean and great location
Squeaky floors
N/a
Room was the size of a shoebox. No wardrobe, Aircon. TV reception was woeful. Maintenance of building very poor.
Will never book this hotel again.
Location was good, bed confortable
The no ensuite in the rooms and at the end of the hall
Nothing
The very, very, very small rooms
Room for a single bloke was adequate and bed comfortable. Location of hotel is great
For an old hotel no complaints.
