The best place to stay in Kabak. Rooms and food are amazing. Staff is over expectations. Usama is the best manager u can imagine. Pool is clean and warm. Beach is not close but u can drive there. Highly recommended. And the best wi -fi in all our lykiya road
Super séjour, le cadre est magnifique et le personnel sympas
Dirt road, no room refrigerator, limited parking spaces with no other parking options, poor air conditioning
Mevcut şartlara göre gayet iyiydi, odalar temiz, kahvaltı ve yemekler daha özenli olabilirdi ama asla kötü değildi. Kabak’a gelirken insanın konfor beklentisi olmamalı, ona rağmen güzel bir tatildi. Armes Otel kesinlikle tavsiye edilir
We booked a bungalow with a nice seaview, and were very excited about the stay. Then when we arrived at the hotel we realized that there was “almost” no seaview at all, although the other ones were having the view that we expected. Because thats what is shown on the information.
We asked for a change and they said it wasnt possible.
At least you should let your customers know about this issue so that we would knew what was waiting us.
Anyways we stayed there 1 night, hotel in general is good, new owner, very helpful and kind.
nice views from the pool area. Good atmosphere.
Breakfast&dinner was ok when you compare with other places around.
Cleaning could be better.
The staff are very friendly. There are three kind of rooms first is standart bungalov. It is just a bungalov with a sea view. Delux bungalov with beautiful view and balcony. It is very big and the last one is rock room. I stayed in there. It was cold during summer time. The room has a hot tub and AC and very big balcony with a forrest and sea view. It is little bit difficult to reach there but when you are there it will be perfect. You can ask what you can do around there to staff. They will help you. Hotel is on the old Lycian Trekking way. 20 minutes far from beach by walking or 10 minutes by shuttle.
Amazing getaway, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, amazing service, very friendly and welcoming staff, rooms are very clean and the interior is at a high quality especially the bathroom, food served throughout the stay is beautiful and the drinks are always flowing ! Would definitely stay again 10/10
Hi everyone! Me and my husband found Armes Hotel online with high recommendations and decided to have a short trip for 3 nights / 4 days. It was absolutely amazing! First of all, this place is for those who want to be engaged in nature and spend some quality time with their family or boy/girlfriend. And if your aim is that, then you should definitely give a chance to this beautiful boutique hotel in Kabak. Because from start to finish, even the welcoming at the entrance of the hotel, was friendly and warm. The food was well prepared and various. We stayed at the room 5, which was right next to the pool and bar, and it had a stunning view and it was big, clean and well decorated. Wi-fi generally worked fine too, since we came from germany it was a little bit important to us. It’s also close to the beach and camping areas in the woods, so you just have to walk approximately 15-20 min down the hill. But there are also mini-buses if you don’t want to walk! To sum up, if you are looking for a quiet but warm, eco-friendly, a vacation that lets you rest well, then this is the place for you!
We stayed in a pretty duplex bungalow for one night with our two teenagers. It is family owned. We booked half board and were treated to a Turkish feast, all home made and traditional for our evening meal. Breakfast was also nice with homemade bread and their own honey. The place is very peaceful with gorgeous views over Butterfly valley with a lovely clean and refreshing pool. They have a small bar area which they trust you to help yourself if nobody is manning the bar and pay for on your departure! A beautiful place to stay.
Just arrived today and wasnt worried about the previous reviews ,I find most people who don't understand how to relax write stupid reviews and I tend to ignore them and on this occasion I am glad I did
The staff are welcoming and the accommodation excellent for the money you pay,if you want a la carte with an extensive wine menu then stay in London. If you want to relax with breathtaking scenery and a real Turkish welcome then come here, there are no day trippers here coming for 20 lira spoiling your peace and quiet just a family run business that do their upmost to please and make a honest living
We are just about to go for our evening meal but something tells me that it will be just as good as what we have found so far
Very friendly check in and up graded as superior room available. Pool lovely and views. Staff helpful but a slow pace which was no problem. Evening meal a great selection of Turkish dishes plus soup plus chicken rice and chips. Two types of melon and a Turkish pudding. Breakfast was also great, traditional Turkish. The drinks were a reasonable price, what we wanted but not a huge variety but fine. Offered transport back to the main road to travel back to town. The man who organised reception and the bar spoke very good English and very attentive. The bees were a problem whilst eating and the staff supplied saucers of spices as a repellent which they lit to help.
First impressions were very positive, welcomed at reception, room very well appointed, pool area looked lovely, the views were superb and the WiFi worked well in all areas. Things started to go down hill from here on, the choice for lunch was chicken wings or meatballs which came with a few greasy chips, a pepper and tomato, I had to ask for salad and bread which arrived after we had finished eating. As lunch took over an hour to arrive we checked what time dinner was to be served we were told 8pm so we met friends at the bar at 7.30 for pre dinner drinks only to find out that the bar was very poorly stocked, when we enquired about wine we discovered that in total there were 4 bottles, at the same time we discovered that the set dinner was fish as several of our party of 12 don't eat fish we asked for an alternative again the option was chicken wings or meatballs, dinner was eventually served at 9pm and was a lack lustre affair. All in all a very disappointing experience, especially as it had been planned and booked months in advance as a birthday treat.
great view, great food and people - we have enjoyed the pool, the walk to the waterfall and the beach side. It is a perfect place to enjoy life and recharge batteries. we had a family chalet for us 4 which was wonderful.
We were on a walking holiday, stopping for 1 night. It is a modern hotel so the facilities are fine - rooms clean, nice pool. The views are great (but same as all the other hotels in the area!) However it lacks atmosphere - rows of pine huts and concrete. The dining room is strip lit and functional. Our main complaint with this hotel was the service. Greeted by grumpy staff. They looked displeased to see us. Dinner was atrocious. We could hear them reheating it in the microwave. Everything has been prepared in advance and was reheated. Everywhere else in Turkey we have had fresh food. When the food arrived it was cold or only part warm. We were served cold chips! We were worried we were going to get food poisoning. The next day we wanted to check out but the staff were hungover and weren't awake. We finally paid our bill in reception which was littered with old beer and spirits bottles and cigarettes. There are so many hotels in this area - this is the last one you should stay in. Olive Garden and Avalon looked much nicer! We got the impression we were the last guests of the season and no one cared very much. Perhaps that explains why other reviewers seem to have had a better experience.
Heavenly yet not excessively luxurious, I have loved this place, located in one of the most spectacular areas in Turkey.
In this hotel every person has its own personality: there is the shy and smily owner, the creative and kind chef, the clumsy and friendly waiter, the smart and funny receptionist - a student spending his summer in this place as a receptionist, ending up trying to kindly solve each of our endless requests!
Extremely relaxing and with both domestic and international guests, what I loved the most of this place was definitely the 'turkish touch' of it, both with its delicious local cuisine as well as for its extremelly friendly personnel.
Nice rooms and a beautiful view from the swimming pool area.
This hotel is BRAND NEW. Beautiful bungalow rooms with very comfy beds and spacious bathrooms. The lovely little restaurant area overlooking the beach serves a complimentary lunch AND dinner, both of which were wonderful. The pool is also gorgeous and is lit at night! The view is stunning from the overlook and cannot be beat.
The staff was very helpful and really went out of their way to help us. In fact, I was lost in the woods walking back from the beach down the mountain and texted one the staff at the hotel that had given us his phone number. I eventually found my way back, as our cell phone did not have service. That night when we were back at the hotel and we regained cell service, the msg automatically sent and the poor man went out at 1 in the morning scouring the mountainside looking for me. (I felt horrible when he told me this the next day, and he was not mad at all.) But this is a great example of how dedicated they were to helping you out.
It is a little hard to find, as the signage is not great, but they are working on this. When you see signs for Shambala off the main dirt road, take that little winding road and you will see the place. You can't mistake it as it is the nicest of all the hotels in Kabak.
PS. DO NOT TAKE THE "shortcut" on the GPS. Stay on D400.
