Pros:

Upon checkin they told us they forgot to block the room we had booked and that the room was already taken. They proceeded to drop us at another hotel which seemed awful compared with the one we had paid for. I asked for shampoo and conditioner which were inherently available at the original hotel I had booked and this idiot of a guy got cheap soap bars delivered to my and my dad’s rooms!!! The bedsheets weren’t changed at all during the 4 days I stayed there and the staff gave my dad a hard time about a dress I was wearing one of the evenings. I am a grown woman, I am allowed to wear whatever I want, wherever I want it. Not only are these guys liars and thugs, they are also just awful people. Highly ask other tourists to never book a room with this cheats.

Pros:

I didn’t like the ‘this is how it is” attitude of the staff and the price charged was higher than the Expedia booking price.

It's OK but stay elsewhere if you can
Pros:

This hotel is below average, especially for the price point. The rooms are OK, but the big problem is the sound and service.

There are phones on every floor, and they start ringing around 7am and continue past 11pm. At one point the phone rang so many times in an hour -- I stopped counting after 50 rings. We requested, repeatedly, for someone to turn off the ringer. It seemed the front desk was making calls to other staff that way because every time it was ringing, we tried to call the front desk, and the line was busy. It woke us up, and kept us up. Not cool!

We also requested a laundry service there. We stayed in India for two months. We paid ₹250-350 per load. In Rishikesh, our laundry service charged ₹7 per piece. Here, we paid 3-4x the rate -- It was more expensive than getting our laundry done in New York City! ₹20 per piece was what we were quoted for underwear and socks, however when the check came back it was ₹30 per piece. We were quoted ₹30 per piece for shorts and t-shirts, but charged ₹40 per piece. Overall, it would have been fine, except in the end we paid ₹750 --and the clothes came back still dirty! The staff acknowledged the error, and sent the clothes back out. They came back a second time... wait for it... still dirty!! So do NOT do laundry there.

Lastly, the breakfast was really disappointing. Most places we stayed in India offered fresh masala omelettes, and chai. The food here was sub-par, made, & then left out for ages.

Nice hotel if U can put up with the noise and dirt
Pros:

Hotel was.in center of Mumbai and easy midway access to gateway or.other places. Good hotel but a few minor things
that needs to.be addressed
1. Very little cleaning done ..I.was there for.4nights and.extended for.another 2nights. They never refurbished the sundries and constantly needed to.be requested.
As they cleaned the rooms, they left all the swept.dust in the corridor from morning.to.afternoon and the reason I was told was short-staffed!
3. The 2nd floor phone rings non-stop all night 2-3-4-5am..Very loud and if all the rooms.have phones..front desk.is.calling 2floor for employees sleeping on 3rd floor....I advised front desk and.The owner that it was impossible.to sleep. The calls were reduced but still rang at 1 or 2 am. I wish they could.find a less noisy solution.
Front desk staff Aziz was wonderful and very nice.

A amazing hotel with a awesome staff
Pros:

I got Spoil by this place.. The location is good, next to a restro open till 12 am ( yep they take orders till 12 am, insane ). The food.. omg the breakfast was just amazing. The rooms were always clean.. small but clean. I don't expect bigger rooms at a good location in Mumbai but the room size never occurred in my mind as the staff got everything i needed under a minute.. yayy.

From iron to iron table, wall charger to hot kettle, everything i needed was just a decent call away.
You guys literally spoiled me. I am super happy to have chosen you over anyone else.

Just a note to the person reading the review... if you are comfortable with 3 people sleeping in minimal space only then opt for a 2+1 room else settle for 2 ppl in 1 room.. like I did.

Cheers to Treebo and hope you guys grow like insane.

Decent value for the price
Pros:

Building hotels in Bombay is expensive. This Treebo has obviously cut costs by location (in an area dominated by car part and scooter repair shops) and facility space. My standard room was clean and efficient, but very tight. It was okay for for a single person for a few days, but a couple might find it too tight (I know my wife and I would). There is not even space for a sitting chair--there is only about a meter around the bed on all sides. Nor is there a separate shower area in the bathroom. Also there is no dinning area for the free breakfast. You get a modest breakfast with just "Indian" or "Continental" choices delivered to your room where it is a problem figuring out where to eat it--if you are using the small desk for work.
For food in the immediate neighborhood you are dependent on two near-by hole-in-the-wall non-a/c Indian restaurants. But they are both inexpensive with very decent food. There are no quality food shops near at hand either.
In short, this is a new place, where everything available (elevator, WiFi, A/C, water, etc) works as it should and is clean. Suitable for someone experienced in Indian travel, but I would not recommend for couples or tourists unfamiliar with India.

Convenient
Pros:

Nicely designed rooms with wooden panels. Close to city center via Grant road or mumbai central station. 24/7 reception: convenient for late arrivals in mumbai.
But Wifi was out of order during our stay. No paper toilet offered. And any shower will get your bathroom totally flooded (no specific shower area in bathroom).

Nice and clean budget hotel
Pros:

I stayed here in the first week of October 2017 as I was looking for a decent budget hotel in areas near Worli. Having stayed in a couple of others in Dadar, my expectations of cleanliness were pretty low. However, Anam International was fairly good in terms of value for money and providing basic amenities, cleanliness and a decent breakfast. It's not fancy and the bathroom may be slightly small but it is clean and served all my needs. Staff was also courteous and Treebo has lived up to my expectations each time now as opposed to standalone budget hotels or the awful experience with OYO rooms. The location is good but the external facade can be improved.
