Just the Relaxing Escape I Needed

Had a one-month stay at Hotel Monticello Castello and absolutely loved everything from the place and views to the hospitable staff who made me feel right at home and were so accommodating with everything. Isola del Giglio è nel mio❤️
Pros:

Un ringraziamento per la cortesia e disponibilità del signore alla reception( purtroppo non so il suo nome), la camera vista mare, e l' abbondante colazione servita nella sala ristorante vista mare..ho usufruito anche del servizio gratuito della navetta, che mi ha accompagnata al Porto il giorno della partenza.

Position is good, plenty parking, and around the clock lift service to the harbour. Staff very nice and helpful

Cons:

It could do with a refresh and refurbishing - the hotel is a bit dated and old fashioned. Some investment could turn it into a gem

We had a great time during our stay
Pros:

Hotel was what we were expecting. The breakfast was lovely, lots of options and fresh coffee made to order. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Our only complaint was the shower was slightly small, but worked perfectly.
