Unique and beautiful apartment within the old town walls.
Pros:

A palace within a palace. Stunning! Great location. Staff was very helpful.

Cons:

Would have loved to have a better coffee machine. The twin beds could have been more comfortable. About 50 stairs up to the apartment. Let the staff help you if you have heavy bags.

Beautiful property, friendly and helpful staff. Comfy beds, perfect location. Highly recommend

The only one thing I would say is we hoped there would be coffee in the room. It is a very minor point as everything else was superb.

Fabulous Stay Inside Diocletian Palace Walls!
Pros:

Villa Nepos is located inside the walls of Diocletian Palace, with a fabulous view of the clock and square. The apartment was large and beautiful, a wonderful resting place for our family. Toma and Lovro were excellent hosts!

Excellent stay. Great location in Old Town right beside the palace. Easy access to ferries.
Pros:

Location, well appointed, easy check in. Love the room -- quiet, a/c if you need it, small but very convenient kitchenette, bed very comfortable and soundproof rooms.

A haven right in the middle of history
Pros:

It’s hard to go past the incredible location, right in the palace with views straight from your windows. The space and design was really in keeping with its surroundings.

Pros:

Villa Nepos is a lovely boutique hotel located directly inside Diocletian's Palace walls, close to the Gold gate entrance. Its an excellent location. Our check-in was easy & convenient. Staff excellent & very helpful. We were running late for our guided tour of the palace & they called our guide & rearranged the time for us! The also recommended an excellent lunch spot - for the best homemade pizza, salad & cocktails. Breakfast was also included & was great. The apartment was beautifully decorated, very spacious, included a small kitchen, sitting area, great bathroom/shower, lots of soft towels, hair dryer & soaps etc. The bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed & extra pillows. Soft linens. Apartment is air conditioned. Our apartment was on the 4th floor of a walk up but there is an elevator for luggage! Everything was super clean & updated. Thank you for a wonderful stay for 2 nights, 3 days. Would highly recommend & would stay again.

Beautiful rooms lovely host but not for us

The property is beautiful inside and location was great. Was exactly like the photos and very clean
Clean in was great and the host are lovely

Cons:

The noise was unbearable street noise was overwhelming and then when it finally stops in the early hours of the morning the church bells go at 6 am

I was expecting the church bells and some noise but this was crazy

Also the beds were the most uncomfortable we have ever stayed in

Such a shame but as I use bookings .com for all my trips I need to be honest as I rely on reviews

Also the washing machines did not work however they did offer to take it and do it which was lovely

The hot water kept running out and the stairwell lighting was dangerously dark
