Pros:

The included breakfast that was plated, not buffet. It was nice.
The room size: certainly not large but plenty big.
English tv was a good feature.

Cons:

Of course, no one likes the curved entry stairs to the 2nd floor; no elevator until the 2nd floor

Lovely relaxing stay in Takayama
Pros:

Lovely comfortable room which had an amazing bath. Very impressed by free laundry facilities. Great location near the station. Lovely breakfast.

Pros:

The staffs went out of their way to assist in attending to my request for a few very important items. The staff were all very kind and attentive. They respond quickly to emails as well

Clean modern hotel with a big room right in front of train station

Super big room - the biggest room we got in this Japan trip

Cons:

The only thing that the hotel can improve is -
hotel is 2nd floor and up. There is no elevator from the ground street level to the 2nd floor. You have to pull your luggage up manually. There is a sign saying you can ring a bell next to the sign to summon help. In our case, it’s a small young lady came down to help.
