Food in Indian restaurant delicious
Small room ...hotel in need of upgrade...very shabby in places and outside poor
Friendly staff, nice big garden to sit out in, clean characterful rooms, good location, easy free parking
Tired communal areas, hard to control room temperature
Falsely advertised as a spa. It has a single treatment room which closes if one team member is absent.
I had my treatment cancelled 40 minutes beforehand.
The place is worn, tired looking, my bedroom walls were dirty. The restaurant was closed.
Staff are nice, parking is easy.
Bar, garden, staff, bed
Breakfast
Close to local locations
Looked a bit run down from the outside. Chairs in Bridal suite were all stained. No coffee machine or mini fridge
Excellent location. All staff pleasant
And cheerful. Large free car park. Large rooms.
Needs a refurb - very shabby decor and outside space ( ie garden) not maintained.
Staff were friendly , the room was clean, the tea and coffee was good.
The room was very warm
Came for a school reunion again. We love this place. It is an older, well maintained building so you get some of the intricacies with that, but that is what makes this classic. The service from all the staff from Abbie, the manager, on down is friendly and professional. The hotel now offers a "dry" Spa, which I took advantage of, and will use again on my next visit. The Indian food served was excellent and the breakfast was very good. Because I am now from Canada and miss it so much, I wish they would offer a "Full English" , but that is me being petty as most of it is there. They have added a second bar, which is useful and modernised some of the areas as well in the last couple of years. If you are coming to the area, this is a great choice for a classic British hotel.
Clean room, comfy bed. Good breakfast.

The hotel was well placed, within walking distance from the railway station in Droitwich Spa. The Indian food menu was very good and I had the best Indian meal I have had for many years. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The whole place had the air of neglect. It needs some real investment and the help from an interior designer as well as the exterior having a spruce-up. My bedroom was on the ground floor overlooking the front car park and next to a fire door. There was noise from fellow guests coming and going right up to 02.00 hours so I did not get a restful night. The breakfast was very old-fashioned and uninspiring. No fresh fruit nor muesli despite both being listed on the menu.
Great hotel and breakfast but in the bar the young lad serving insisted on pulling pints of Lager flat as a Pancake in glasses with Widgets and could not understand that they should be poured with a head and wouldn't change them and fobbed us off and at a fiver a pint it didn`t go down well , apart from that all OK
Good car park, spacious bedroom.
The property had been taken over now called something different. Would have been good to know. Simple room, basic breakfast very minimal but ok.
Location ok, generally comfortable
No record of booking on arrival. Property is tired, needs internal and external renovation. Ivy from outside was growing through window.
I did not think a rate of £216 (room only) for 2 nights was justifiable.
Bar area. Cleanliness location, friendly staff.
Single bed was a little cramped against the wall.
