Best hotel we stayed in in our north india holiday. Great staff. Liked the restaurant.

A bit limited choice of wine in the restaurant, but food was good The room was very nice but the bathroom perhaps needs updating a little.

Heel speciale dank aan Imran Khan, de Assistant Front Office Manager die ons met veel enthousiasme hielp bij excursies en alle andere vragen die we hadden, het lobby en keuken personeel altijd supervriendelijk en speciale dank ook aan Rajan die ons elke dag met veel enthousiasme bediende bij het lekkere en uitgebreide ontbijt.
De dag na aankomst was het mijn 50ste verjaardag en dat had het lobby personeel goed opgemerkt want al van bij het ontbijt waren er kleine speciale detailattenties gevolgd in de late namiddag door een superlekkere taart gebracht naar onze kamer door een aantal zeer sympathieke medewerkers van het hotel
Ligging ten aanzien van de Golden Temple ook heel goed, rustig gelegen wat in Indië geen evidentie is.
Mooi hotel, mooie kamers.

An ok and clean stay for a family visit to Amritsar

Cons:

- I had a triple room for me and my kids but additional bed not set up so we all crammed into a double. Didn't sleep well.
- poor breakfast choices. Ordered pancakes and got 1. My dads chole-pature were incredibly greasy. Cold parathas. No one to meet us and ask for our room details. A bit shambolic.
- slow to respond to booking.com message but they insisted on the phone I bring visa paperwork which it turns out we didn't need.
- no information at helpdesk about when the pool can be used or other facilities such as their restaurant.

Overall, a truly memorable experience, great staff, service and location.
Pros:

I stayed at the 'Fairfield by Marriott' for 7 nights and had a great experience. The staff hospitality was superb and from a personal perspective I would like to give a special mention for 'Harish' managing the front desk. Overall, a memorable experience and I look forward to coming back soon. Thank you to all the staff.

Cons:

Improvements can be made in a) the restaurant service efficiency, specifically in timely delivery of the 'omelette' - as this seemed to take a long time to reach the table b) maintenance and cleanliness of the swimming pool surrounding area and checking of towels supply is available.
