The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui

Beautiful location and wonderful staff throughout our stay. View at reception, Maya at breakfast, and the Muay Thai team were all incredibly accommodating, friendly, and helpful. They truly made our experience special. We would definitely come back!

I had a massage at The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui and it was a great experience.

Therapists Link and nw were very professional and attentive, and the massage was extremely relaxing. After the session, Saan kindly served champagne, which made the experience feel even more special.

Overall, excellent service and highly recommended.

The rooms were comfortable. Grounds well maintained.

Pool villa

I don’t often write reviews, 6 probably in 20 years, and certainly NOT before leaving but this place has caused me to do so.

My Marriott app tells me I’ve stayed 961 nights at Marriott. Many of them absolutely excellent but this one is totally 5 star. I would say more like 7.

Great attention to detail, staff who seem to really care, pristine facilities, the team like each other and cooperate to work well to provide top notch service.

I do have Ambassador status but I don’t think it came into it - it seems, correctly, that EVERY guest is valued and great care is taken of their security and comfort.

I loved it so much I extended 2 extra days

The service was exceptional throughout our stay, and every staff member was warm, friendly, and professional. The food quality exceeded our expectations, and our dining experiences were truly outstanding. We also enjoyed the spa experience very much, which was relaxing and memorable. Overall, the hospitality and attention to detail from the team were excellent.

Another fantastic stay at the Ritz Carlton Koh Samui. We previously visited in November last year and had such a beautiful time that we had to come back again.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like family. It was great seeing so many friendly faces that we remembered from our last visit.

I’d like to especially call out Reuben and Muhammed who met us at the check-in and very quickly and smoothly checked us into our room. The fantastic Lucky escorted us to our Villa and kindly introduced the resort to our friends who hadn’t visited before. Her friendly nature is hugely infectious and is an asset to the hotel.

The facilities at the resort, are second to none. It is a truly beautiful resort with a fantastic pool area , attentive staff, great breakfast offering and beautiful restaurants on site. The Location is fantastic to be able to also visit the fisherman’s village and the night market.

The villas are beautifully decorated and have great quality furnishings and linens and having a private pool makes it feel the ultimate luxury experience. The cleaning team are fantastic and the room was always made beautifully after a day out at the beach. A great quality touches the evening turn down service where anything you need is provided such as fresh towels, New robes or a replenished mini bar.

Jinn at the property is fantastic, we met her at our previous visit when they were decorating the resort for Christmas, it was fantastic to see her again, she made us feel hugely welcomed, always with a friendly smile, providing us suggestions and tips on places to visit. She is genuinely one of the nicest and most professional people we have met whilst travelling around the world.

I also wanted to call out Jum Jim who was fantastic, providing us information and looking after us during our stay as well as Ping who always ensured that we were looked after around the pool area.

I would definitely visit the property again, and I’m already planning my next trip

My twin and I went for a focus massage. Pui and Rainy were incredible with us. Asked us how much pressure we would like, the oils we could pick from and gave incredible massages. I have quite a few knots in my back, and rainy was great at getting all of them. Highly recommend both Pui and Rainy, if you are coming here for a massage :)

I had an absolutely incredible experience at the resort's spa. I booked a 90-minute massage, which was expertly performed by Link. She was amazing—highly professional, incredibly thorough, and deeply attentive to my body's needs and tension points throughout the entire session. After the treatment, I felt completely relaxed, grounded, and fully rejuvenated, exactly what I was hoping for. If you are staying here, treating yourself to a session with Link is an absolute must!

Truly an amazing resort with the highlight being the incredibly friendly and accomodating staff. The amenities are incredible and the level of care taken in refining every aspect is outstanding. Special mention goes to their spa experiences; Plei, Mui and Rose made the experience unforgettable and we were so relaxed for our flight out.
