Sandman Signature Calgary Airport Hotel

We have stayed at the Sandman Signature Calgary Airport Hotel a couple of times and like that there is a restaurant in the hotel and they provide transportation to and from the airport. The staff are friendly and helpful. This time they were exceptional! I lost my glasses when we were there and the staff found them and packed them up and sent them to me. In particular, I want to thank Carmela who went above and beyond to ensure I got my glasses. The Sandman is just a pleasant place to stay.

Not a good stay the front staff was rude, they don’t know to talk with there guest, this not first time I stay with sandman hotel they are good in there business but not this time, and also it’s say breakfast included when I booked it but when I ask them where is the breakfast they are rude and

Room was very nice. Pool and hot tub were clean. There are two great restaurants at this hotel!

Very good hotel with clean rooms and very helpful staff.

I liked how everything was in close proximity.
Nothing to dislike.

Offered to upgrade to an executive suite which we did and when we got there there were strands of black hair on the bathroom counter. Along with that the entire room was rundown ie, sofa bed, counters in bathroom, broken shower nob and remote and there were loud noises coming from the side/air conditioning unit...and not the mention the nasty windows (no view as not cleaned). Major noises coming in this room and right beside electrical room and stairs. Not impressed at all. Not worth money to stay here. The only good thing was the restaurants (moxies and chop)

Stayed for Labour Day weekend and it was great, had the room cleaned for us and ice machine was the best part (I’m pregnant haha)

Great spot near YYC, comfy beds. Pet friendly.

There was hair in the bathroom tiles from previous hotel guest, soap holder was broken with it barely hanging on the wall. Noise from the AC was so loud, couldn’t sleep properly.

Friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Overall, we had an amazing stay.

Likes: close to airport, quiet, easy to get to, dining options
Dislikes: pool and hot tub were out of commission which was one of the main reasons we booked a room. No free breakfast.

Disappointed the pool and hot tub was not operational, was not advised of this when booking the room on Expedia.
I have a young child and this helps to determine which hotel we stay at

Terrible hotel. Not clean

Signature suits are smaller than we expected.

Checked in with a pet and was designated to the ground floor, which was nice. However, the carpet was extremely old, there was a wet spot on the carpet. We thought they had just cleaned the carpet but we spilled some water and it stay wet for 2 days.

Overall great experience in the superior king room with kitchenette. It was great for our stay prior to leaving for Banff. Only issue was that no one came to pick up our dishes after ordering room services for more than 24h. The trays were just sitting at the front of our room in the hallway even after notifying front desk. Also we were confused about the water temperatures in the tub/shower so we took scalding hot showers until we asked for help. It would help if there was instructions for future stay. Overall good experience.

Very nice and clean property.

The staff were helpful and friendly. I was able to check in a few hours early.
