Proprietor is a nice fellow, the motel was dog-friendly -- but charged at $15/day fee not listed in Expedia site. Field near motel with long grass and lupins -- great for quick dog walks. Patrons in other rooms screaming angrily at each other in the middle of the night. Room needs hooks at door for coats, needs more/better lighting, needs opening for front window to get cross-ventilation, needs more electrical outlets. Loud traffic most hours.
Good value!
Very nice place, we will stay again

Very convenient and nice view of the ski area
Amazing motel, comfortable and clean. Easy check in process, close to everything. Wish they had a hot tub option. Will be back!!
Was looking for the least expensive motel option for a ski trip to Okemo chasing a forecast of 2 feet. This place fit the bill.

Great non-chain hotel close to Okemo. No frills room, clean and comfortable bed. Perfect to crash after a full day on the slopes. Walls are very thin, used ear plugs the second night and had a great sleep. If you arrive late look for an envelope outside the front door, the "24 hr" lobby is only a phone call after hours.
Great location to town and okemo ski mountain.
The innkeeper was lovely, very friendly. Also the actual room is very clean and cozy.
Very nice privately owned small old fashioned motel typical of Vermont and adirondacks. Quiet, convenient to Okemo and in town of Ludlow.
Arrived a bit early and my key was in an envelope outside the office. Glenn(?) was terrifically accommodating. The room was in great condition. Very rustic with exposed timber construction. Beds were very comfortable.
Will stay again!
Pet friendly and clean. Close to Okemo.
Very convenient to Okemo. Shuttle to get to Okemo was super convenient. Room was very clean. Person at the front desk was very helpful. Would definitely come back.
We are here 2 days after Christmas. NOT A SINGLE room around except for this one!!! Glen was extremely help and kind to my family!! This was the last room & we were tired.
Thank you so much!!!
Room was warm, kept well & would stay again.
Don’t take my word for it try it for yourself.
Would definitely recommend staying here.
Second time staying here
The owner Glenn is one of the kindest persons I’ve ever met!
We had to book a room last minute as a matter of emergency, as we had a car breakdown that day, leaving us stranded in a place we were not familiar with.
We were placed in a super comfy room (#14 I think?) which was the cleanest I’ve ever seen.
Glenn even offered to assist us in booking a taxi for the next day or to drop us by a bus stop with our luggage n case of need - which was more than what we could’ve ever asked for.
We would gladly come back again to the Tomber Inn Motel if we ever tour the state again, that’s for sure !
Glenn, if you read this, we’ll never forget your kind soul!
It was my first time staying in Vermont and this motel made it a pleasant experience. The only downside was because I had pets I had to be on the 2nd floor but other than that it was excellent.
Basic roadside motel. Clean but nothing special. Noisy above us. Town was small with limited food options. Couldn’t find a restaurant or bar that had the NCLS baseball game on the TV and no one would help us out
