Pool was great Love the property to raise deck with the view is awesome and the staff was really nice

The owner is awesome, very accommodating, relaxed atmosphere, rooms were spacious and clean. Food was some of the best on our trip and pool was great. It is Right on the beach for swimming or just fall listening to the waves! Many expats come for drinks and they are very warm and inviting you feel like your home.

The staff were polite, the bed comfortable and room clean. Water went off for over 12 hours and we had to use the pool water to flush the toilet but I do not think this had anything to do with the hotel as I was told this was the normal in this part of Panama. No one cleaned our room while we were there for 5 days, and we had to put the trash out and requested tissue, towels, etc.

If you ever visit the Puerto Armuelles area Big Daddy’s is the place to stay. It is comfortable and the staff is so accommodating. Good food and good drinks. It gets my three C’s - CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, AND COZY!

The hotel was nice the staff was great the AC worked ok. The food was outstanding!

Suite door to access beach was unable to open. Sink was poorly designed. No hot water. Too expensive for the low quality.

Service was very good. We were pleased all the time. Food was excellent and prices were very good.

This was just a one-night stop for us, in conjunction with a trip to a monkey preserve nearby. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodations. The room was large, with a sitting area and a comfortable bed. The pillows didn't work as well for us, but that tends to be individual. They have a nice deck here you can eat and/or have a glass of wine looking out over the ocean. Pool was nice. One suggestion would be to make the toilet a bit more private in the room. The restaurant menu is limited, but the food we had was good. It served our purposes very well and we would return.

Off the beaten path with a touch of charm - very nice staff and inexpensive drinks. This place is not for everyone but we enjoyed our stay.

Literally right on the beach. Frank and his staff are amazing. You are close to the heart of Puerto. The suites are huge for 2 people with plenty of light and amazing ocean views from bed.

The room, although clean, had no amenities and the furniture was uncomfortable and worn. The pool was dirty. The only places to sit outside were plastic chairs, no lounge chairs available, so relaxing at the beach or the pool meant sitting up straight. Incredibly noisy. No hot water in the showers, unkept grounds, etc. The only positive was the several hard working girls who served food, and did relatively everything else

We stayed for two nights and a full day. The town seems in decline even though it’s a destination for expats. The hotel isn’t opulent but it is clean, recently renovated and the staff is friendly and very helpful. Shout out to Frank the ‘consierge’ who made our stay - helpful, informative, attentive to details and bi-lingual (since we are not). If we return we will definitely stay at Big Daddies.

Great view and friendly staff. Unfortunately I can't recommend anything else about this place. No window in room, no hot watet as advertised, filthy pool over run with day use people, management unresponsive to guests dog barking all day and all right.

The place looks like a hostal from the money called the hostal.
