Nice and pleasant.
Pros:

Location ideal, we have had dinner, not breakfast.

Cons:

Access road to the hotel is not double laned, hence was bit akward to provide side distance to passing or oncoming vehicles.

Hospitality was perfect. The staff I met were excellent. Very pleasant and helpful.
A note: suggestion should treat every single customer equally, not judge by age or language or something.

Cons:

May need maintenance in the bathroom, sinks are broken and smelly, looks not nice. shower water flow so bad. Sometimes mosquitoes are in the room.

Für Batticaloa ist das East Lagoon sicher eines der besten Hotels. Die Einrichtung ist zwar etwas altmodisch, aber alles war sehr sauber und das Badezimmer modern. Das Personal war freundlich, wenn auch etwas schüchtern.

Das Essen hat uns leider überhaupt nicht gefallen, und die Wärme im Gang – und dadurch auch im Zimmer nach einem Tagestrip – war unangenehm. Mit der Klimaanlage war es im Zimmer aber gut auszuhalten.

Sehr positiv waren der Roomservice, der gepflegte Poolbereich und die gute Sicherheit im Hotel. Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel für Batticaloa, jedoch nicht ganz auf dem Standard, den wir sonst gewohnt sind.

It was an average hotel.
Pros:

Staff is friebdly and courtiest.

Cons:

Water flow through showrs is not at all sufficent. When told about this to the management, they said they can't improve because the noise level increases if the pressure in increased.
I havent got an invoice as I checked out early. Access to the room is NOT good as I had to carry my suite cases by a staircase.

Good pit stop on our road-trip North.
Pros:

The location on the lagoon. The room and bathroom were very clean. The eclectic mix of decor. My husband said the food was very good. Kettle and fridge in the room. Good wifi and aircon.

Cons:

There is no blanket on the bed. No English TV channels. The mattress is too firm for my back (this can be good for others).
