Amazing place to stay at for your nights in Kyoto.
Pros:

The location was perfect, close to the buses and station, next to a beautiful temple.

The staff was very kind and provided all the information we needed to know.

The bed was comfortable, and the place was well-equipped.
The airconditioner was also clean, and we also had an air-purifier.
They cleaned rooms every second day, so towels were always fresh.

Cons:

Overall the place was very clean where it mattered, but the first bedsheet we got had some stains (although it did smell fresh). It was changed during the first room cleaning to an immaculate one.

The chair in the room also had some crusts on it, so it wasn’t perfectly clean. Some dusty surfaces.

Pros:

Loved everything from the serene entrance to the lovely, welcoming, friendly staff and view from the room. Great shower pressure. Onsen was very appreciated by the guest who used it. Amazing location.

Cozy hotel near Kyoto Station convenient to trains, subways, and buses.
Pros:

Hotel Kuu is conveniently located near Kyoto Station--about 10 minutes on foot. It's easy to find on a major route across the Higashi Honganji, the largest temple in Japan. Bus routes and the Karasuma subway are nearby. The hotel is small and personal, so the staff is very attentive. The buffet breakfast is exceptional with many regional foods and offerings are very appealing and tasty; nothing fancy like expensive hotels, but well curated with a variety of foods.

Cons:

Can't think of anything special, but I had trouble with HDMI setup because the adapter was almost impossible to connect to the TV. Many, if not most, TV sets have HDMI ports which are convenient located, like on the sides. This TV had port under the TV in a recessed area. I needed staff assistance to connect the HDMI adapter.

Super freundliches Personal, alles blitzsauber, tolles Frühstück, sogar eine Dachterasse und die Nutzung des Onsens ist ein Luxus!
