Perfect location for a stay in St Andrews
Pros:

The location is excellent

Cons:

There was a slight smell in the bathroom & the quality of the towels were poor (one was torn). This was a shame as the bathroom itself was beautiful

Great hotel, could have been better with spa access which is what it’s advertised as

Fab spa and staff
Pros:

The jacuzzi and massages were great. Lovely bathroom with good shower. Fridge in room is always a bonus.

Cons:

Rattly window (fixed that with cardboard myself), coffee machine was terrible for making tea, had to push the water button about 20 times to fill the cup. A kettle would have been better.

Too much money to charge for bad , old mattresses
Pros:

location and bathrooms were perfect

Cons:

the Beds! Highly uncomfortable! Hotel added a down mattress pad to hide the extremely uncomfortable twin beds pushed together to make a king bed. Mattress too old that we felt like we were sliding off the sides. we had 3 rooms total for our family and all were unsleepable. Our adult sons put mattress on floor which made it slightly better. For the high prices of the rooms, they should invest in better mattresses, however the linen bedding was lovely. Shame it was on the worst mattresses of our trip

Pros:

The hotel was lovely, clean and staff welcoming

Cons:

Service for breakfast and drinks was very slow. The breakfast was a little disappointing, partly as it took a while to be served.
