Way better then in pictures. Very clean (the cleaning lady does an amazing job) very well equipped, water provided, beach towel as well, very well situated and very friendly staff. Highly recommend

the hotel is close to the streets and there is no peace on the balcony
This is a decent hotel. It is on one of the main roads. To the closest beach is about a 15-20 minute walk. The hotel does provide beach towels just ask the reception. Coffee (instant coffee) is available by the reception. The reception area also has great seating to have food and hang out. Our room was on a separate building which may not be preferable since there is no elevator but if you are on the main building there is an elevator. Our room was spacious and the balcony has nice views. The hallway had this smell like a wet towel was sitting out for a while not pleasant. The shower did not drain quickly so the water kept accumulating. Overall this is a nice place to stay and would come back.
I loved that they are very clean and especially that they have a shower for those who checked out but leave later. My special thanks for that :)
That my room was on the 4th floor and there was no elevator in this building.

Thailand beds are super hard and they don't have any accommodations for it.
Our stay at Mala hotel was pleasant and comfortable as expected. The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean and serviced daily. Beds are firm which seems pretty standard in Thailand. Included breakfast is basic but filling, but you have the option to go next door to Mala Dim Sum which is AMAZiNG and always full of locals. There’s also a fabulous street food diner around the corner called HUG. It’s a good 15-20 min walk to KATA beach which we didn’t mind or a short tuk tuk ride.It is also short walking distance to 2 gyms, both great but SK-1 gym is the best. Staff were always welcoming annd helpful. Mai will arrange airport transfers and tours if you give her enough notice
There was meant to be a free airport pickup on arrival included in our booking but despite providing all the details, it never happened. I think this was a miscommunication between booking.com and the hotel rather than the fault of the hotel. A taxi was easy enough to secure at the airport.

I expected a bit of noise being on a busy road but wow it was non stop noise inside and out
Skinande rent och snyggt hotell med bra rum och sängar. Trevlig personal. Betyget dras ned av mycket starkt trafikljud. Hotellet ligger vid en starkt trafikerad led. Fotot på utsikten mot havet måste vara taget under en annan tidsepok.
Hotel taxi driver was rude and drove us to the wrong pier. Hotel reception just hung up on us everytime we called.
Nice clean room and given water daily. Bed was big and good wardrobe space, safe etc. Bathroom shower was slightly separate from the toilet which was good compared to the usual wet room style. Staff were helpful and polite.
We were in a building away from the main site which we weren’t expecting. Bed was really hard. No lift so not ideal with heavy bags.
Very friendly staff and very very clean. Lots of storage in room.
