Worse than Fawlty Towers. It’s unsafe.

Staff were amicable. But, no more than that.

Cons:

Dangerous, unsafe electric sockets with wires hanging off the walls, not working. Walls crumbling. A flooded bathroom for 19 days there, which was utterly disgusting + they think a stick with a wiper will solve a constantly leaking flood in the bathroom. Filthy and unhygienic. Bedding not changed daily. Bins not emptied daily. The bedding is disgusting with stained in blood marks, other marks on the sheets. Simply terrible. The bedding was very thin - the duvet. During a snowy Izmit, we froze in the room. No lifts for disabled. Many staircases only. No lights on the staircases. It was very unsafe and dangerous.

Superb
Pros:

I am a traveler from China. This hotel is clean, safe, and has good service. The price is worth it. There are banks and shopping streets nearby. If I come to Izmit next time, I will stay here again.

Cons:

The curtains don't block out light well, the quilt is too thin in summer, and it's easy to get your shoes wet when you take a shower
