Pros:

Cons:

Es gab nichts zu beanstanden

Nice location, lovely room, food was fine but more choice would of been great.
Pros:

Room was nice, comfy bed and lovely linen / pillows. Everything you needed in the room. Constant hot water and a lovely deep bath to relax in.

Cons:

The noise from the above room was a little disappointing due to the creaky floors, so sleep was hit and miss. Would of been good if there was a little more choice for vegans on the menu, accept for the usual risotto and burgers.

Great location, exceptionally dog-friendly, friendly staff, comfortable room lovely Dartmoor walks.
Pros:

The location of The White Hart Hotel Moretonhampstead is perfect for exploring Dartmoor National Park, with multiple dog walks straight from the doorstep, and we particularly enjoyed walking to The Fingle Bridge Inn for lunch and back with beautiful views along the way. The hotel caters exceptionally well for dogs and, for just £10 per stay, they are provided with a bed, treats, poo bags and a ball, and are welcome in the bar, lounge and restaurant, which made a real difference to us. Room 6 was a good size with a very comfortable bed and, although directly above the lounge bar at the front, we were not disturbed by noise. The staff were, without exception, polite, friendly and helpful, and while the food was good, and the cheese in particular delicious, I do think it is a stretch to describe Jacobs crackers, chedders and water biscuits as “artisan”.

However, while the breakfast was good, it did not meet the “exceptional” standard mentioned in other reviews, with boxed cereals, carton juices, basic sliced bread and what tasted like shop-bought hollandaise feeling fairly standard. The lounge chairs in the room were very uncomfortable and seem better suited as spare beds, although the bed itself was comfortable. The TV did not work despite checking connections, although this was not a major issue as we used a laptop and WiFi, which did drop out several times, although phone signal allowed use of a hotspot. Toiletries were good quality, and even the toilet paper was better than average, although anyone around six foot would struggle to stand upright in the shower in Room 6.

A very well-located and genuinely dog-friendly stay with friendly staff and a comfortable room, although a few small niggles meant it fell just short of being exceptional.

Cons:

Nothing major, just those mentioned above.
