Lovely situation on the moor.
Pros:

Cleanliness and decor super!

Cons:

For me personally, the bed is too hard. The mattress topper did not fit all the way across. The pillows were like rocks. The light bulbs in the bedside lamps were too bright.
There was no Hotel Information sheet e.g. fire escape route breakfast times you presume it’s 0 to dial reception however there is nothing to tell you.

Perfect little getaway
Pros:

Everything surpassed expectations. The food was excellent, the room was stunning, the bed was comfortable, the staff were more than helpful and so welcoming. I honestly don't think I can fault our stay!

Cons:

The ONLY thing I didn't like (and it's nothing to do with the hotel), was the travel. Those narrow country roads were something else - especially in the dark!

Location great and budget friendly.
Pros:

Great location for exploring Dartmoor and a good price for a nights stay. Nice decor and a good sized bedroom.

Cons:

The staff were unfriendly and not very attentive or welcoming. The price of a glass of white wine was £12.75 which In my opinion was extortionate, I’ve never paid that in London! The bathroom was very dated and my husband being over 6ft couldn’t stand in the shower. My beef madras was also very average- the beef was tough and dry.
