Great location for Dartmoor with walking and pubs. Very good hotel our second stay at the hotel.
Pros:

Dinner was lovely and staff were very attentive and friendly.

Cons:

More choice for breakfast. fresh fruit and greek yoghurt would have been nice.

Nettes Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht.

Cons:

Beim Frühstück am 2. Tag ist wohl der Koch ausgefallen. Man musste sehr lange warten und es schmeckte leider nicht.

Disappointed in the standard of upkeep and lack of thought about room layout
Pros:

Good size of room, comfortable bed
Staff were very nice

Cons:

Very shabby in need of renovation, you could see daylight through the window sills and the bathroom needs an upgrade, no sockets near mirror to do hair etc and bathroom light was not good enough to use
No parking at hotel have to walk down hill to car park which costs £5 per day.

Central location and beautiful old building
Pros:

Super comfortable king size bed with crisp white linen. Wonderful staff. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Lovely lady that served us.

Cons:

Bathroom. Small, a bit smelly and restricted height for a shower. Very noisy flush system. Possible upgrade needed here.

Gute Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück, stilvolles Restaurant, Aussenterrasse im Hof.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war leider bereits sehr abgewohnt und sehr klein.

Absolutely value for money, keep going!!
Pros:

The hotel is well looked after, there’s is defo someone with a good attention to detail, great to see plants and flowers around, no fake stuff. It’s a well worn place, very clean and tidy with super staff…who genuinely love to have dogs around. Considering this, I would highly recommend to anyone, dog lovers or not, it’s well run. Well done all.

Cons:

Ok there’s always going to be a trade off, the bathroom height in our room was very low, showering wasn’t exactly lux / comfortable BUT, let’s be honest it’s not a problem at the price point, overall nice room. Like the touches for dogs too, very welcoming.
