Good and Bad
Pros:

Nice place, cosy and chill on the beach. Before we arrived in the morning we read on the page that the place should have restaurant and fitness center but that was wrong. The resturant open some day after we arrived. We heard our room should be cleaned every day, but for us 1 of 6 days. We had a bad small from the bathroom in our room and we find cockroach in the room (but normal in Thailand).
Good; we got great service from one guy working in the receptionen/area. He helped us with new towels, bikes to rent and clean our clothes. Thats nice.

AVOID until renovation is over
Pros:

The only nice thing is the location! Otherwise the place is in terrible conditions, we figured they're doing some sort of renovation as of Dec 2018 so DO NOT STAY until after that. Bungalows in really bad conditions. In the first one we stayed the toilet seat was disgusting, the sink tap was broken, so was the hot water machine and the water wasn't running through properly. We were promised to change room after one night, the next room was not clean at all. There was a giant dead bug in the bed, and spider webs everywhere in the toilet. The mattress was old, yellow and stinky even through the sheets. If the cancelation policy wasn't strict, would not have stayed, obvious mistake upon arrival.

Kein TV, kein Kühlschrank, kein WiFi, nur bett und regal, 3 tage kein wasser, roomservice nur nach reklamation, 2 x in 8 tagen, kein restaurant, kein Kaffee, nur basic. Das waere auch ok aber nicht fuer den preis

Budget stay right on the beach
Pros:

Budget hotel for budget price: poor water pressure, lots of mosquitos, and difficult to locate are the downsides.
Good: right on the beach, good wifi (my room was almost at the corner of the resort, btw) food easily available within walking distance if you do not wish to dine in at the restaurant, and centrally located on the island to many attractions and actvities
