In a bustling Bangkok city there lies an oasis of calm and peace. Its called the ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit Phra Khanong. An outstanding Accor team that have lived up to delivering excellence on the brand promise of ibis Styles and its parent company (Accor). The one person that stands out and deserves a special mention is the front office duty manager called Khun TK (fondly known as Ms. Kucumber). Khun TK has a vibrant energy of exhilarating enthusiasm to serve the guest and her attention to detail reflects a sense of Thai culture that shows in her hospitality. Quick to understand my needs, Khun TK ensured that my check-in was effective and efficient. She made sure that prior to my arrival a deep clean was done to prepare my room for a warm clean welcome. Khun TK's communication skills in the English language made me feel understood and at ease immediately. Thailand is a land of smiles, kindness, and politeness. Khun TK did not let the perception of her country down. She exemplified Thai culture and Thai hospitality to perfection.
Estuvimos en el hotel casi 1 semana en un viaje familiar con 2 niños; en términos generales MUY BIEN. Es un hotel chico, pero comodo y de fácil acceso.. no hay muchos malls al rededor, pero puedes caminar unos 15mins para encontrar uno pequeño. El desayuno estuvo bien, pero algunas veces faltaba personal para la demanda de gente, pero nada grave... Si volveríamos a reservar allí en una siguiente oportunidad.

This hotel is consistent with every visit -reasonably priced, polite and professional staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds and convenient amenities such a restaurant and gym onsite. I certainly recommend this accommodation.
The Ibis Styles staff are always friendly and courteous, I was even remembered from previous visits. The rooms are consistently fresh and any concerns are immediately addressed. Definitely recommend this hotel.
They had express check out at the property, which was pretty useful.
Similarly, they accommodated an early check in.
For some strange reason, I could not encash a 100$ bill, which they claimed that it did not clear their norms - which was perfectly Ok at a money exchange.
Just realize that this is a budget hotel. Everything sits at that level. Room is quite nice. But, no amenities. I went and bought milk etc. for tea in the room as I am here for 8nights. Asked for a mug, rather than the silly, tiny cups they provide. They said no, don't have any. This despite the tray of mugs I saw that morning in the breakfast room. I know, a first-world problem move on. Agree. But it says volumes about the level of service,so passing on my angst as a warning to prospective.
A well managed IBIS with all necessary facilities including a medium size pool, and a small gym. Slightly outside of the main tourist area but conveniently located next to a SKY Train station, thus, you can reach anywhere fast. Lots and lots of eating place, street markets and cafes around the hotel; at prices much lower than the touristy places as this area isn’t considered a tourist attraction, it’s more residential with a great local buzz. Staff are very professional. There is an ATM at the lobby of the hotel, which is very convenient and safe to withdraw cash.

It seemed like I was returning home, sharing a room with a dear friend! You know, I've ever been here for 3 years ago, and the rooms are still classic in design, pleasant, and clean. I'd want to show my gratitude to the hotel team for providing me with such an amazing experience, especially at the rooftop bar, which has a beautiful view. The swimming pool area is also the best. Overview If you are looking for any place valuable and nearby sky train (hotel shuttle service), please book.

I would like to compliment the night shift front desk staff, Nan and Pair, for their excellent service during my late check-in. Both of them were incredibly friendly, polite, and welcoming. Their warm attitude and helpful assistance made me feel instantly at home, even though it was quite late at night. Thank you both for making my arrival so pleasant!

It’s was an overnight stay but we were welcomed well by the excellent customer service of the hotel staffs, the hotel lobby is superb c feeling like a five star hotel, ambiance and interior is of high aesthetic level, clean rooms, nice hotel amenities, pool and roof top bar.
This was our first stay at this hotel and was chosen due to its location for a meeting we had to attend nearby. We checked in around 1630. Around an hour after getting into the room we noticed the air-conditioning was not cold and seemed to be stuck on 28 degrees and the controller refused to go to a lower setting. We had to wait for an engineer to come and repair it - which took him around 20 minutes to repair. In the evening whilst lying on the bed watching TV, we saw an insect about an inch long walking on the wall by the TV. I am not an expert on insects but it looked like a baby cockroach. I managed to squash it with my shoe, but 5 minutes later another one appeared but I wasn't able to catch or kill it. It made us uncomfortable and wonder how many more were in the room?
The bed and pillows were comfortable enough. Breakfast was not spectacular, but adequate.
The next morning we had more meetings and wouldn't finish until 1230 so requested a late check-out to 1pm or even 2pm if possible (& considering we didn't check-in the day before until 1630). We were told it would be possible, but subject to a supplementary charge which was around 1/3 the cost of the whole daily rate we had paid for the room - just for an hour or two late check-out. We declined the offer and re-arranged our meeting plans instead. Not exactly helpful staff :(
They cancelled my entire booking of 14 nights on the morning of check-in because their incompetent staff didn’t have the intelligence to understand that my credit card has my initials on instead of my full name. They repeatedly told me they cancelled the booking because I used someone else’s credit card. When I arrived at the hotel, hoping to rectify the problem they lied to me and told me the booking.com had cancelled my reservation and they didn’t know why. They said the best they could do was send me to a more expensive place. Completely ruined my vacation, I was left standing outside with my luggage and nowhere to stay for 2 weeks. In all my years of travelling I have never been treated so badly. My theory is that they sold me the room to cheaply and wanted to resell it at a higher rate.
