Pros:

L’emplacement est vraiment superbe ! Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le petit parc pour enfant pour notre petite fille de 3ans. La qualité du petit déjeuner et du restaurant. Et pouvoir se garer sur place.

Zero consideration for customers
Pros:

The Hotel Morteratsch in Pontresina has a café with outdoor seating. Although it is the only establishment at the Bernina Express train stop, situated right at the start of the popular trail to the glacier, customers sitting at the tables are not permitted to use the Wi-Fi. The member of staff told me that it is reserved exclusively for hotel guests and not for customers of the café and restaurant. WHAT’S MORE, THIS WAS COMMUNICATED IN AN EXTREMELY RUDE MANNER. I find this restriction to be unjustified and inexcusable.

Pros:

Lage, Frühstück, alles war tipptopp. Ich habe dieses Hotel ausgewählt, weil ich es kenne und schon mehrfach da war. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

Cons:

Die Umfrage, welche nachher kommt, hat mit nicht gefallen, das ist aber wohl eher eine Rüge an booking. Sorry, da wird mit einem Automatismus behauptet, ich hätte um ein ruhigeres Zimmer gebeten, nur weil ich bei Ruhe des Zimmers den neutralen Smiley angekreuzt habe (den zweit schlechtesten). Das ist nicht wahr, ich habe nicht um ein ruhigeres Zimmer gebeten, daran erinnere ich mich genau, das war nicht nötig. Das Bachrauschen ist halt mal sehr laut.
Der Lärm in den Zimmern gegen den Bach wird vom tosenden Bach verursacht, den hört man auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern ziemlich laut. Es hätte gefragt werden müssen, ob mich das gestört hat, gefragt wurde aber - ach, es ist immer das gleiche mit den Umfragen. Es wird nicht das gefragt, was man eigentlich wissen will. Ich kann mir aber vorstellen, dass solche Umfragen mit KI mal besser werden....

Pros:

The hotel is an incredible place. We only stayed for one night, arriving late and leaving early by train, but the location was perfect for us. The trains are reliable and regular in both directions, although remember to request a stop when both arriving and departing.

Despite our short stay, we managed to fit in a walk to the glacier, which is well marked and follows an easy trail. It was certainly worth doing and was a highlight of our visit.

The hotel offers excellent value for money given its stunning location, especially with the continental breakfast, which was delicious.

We would happily recommend this hotel and would love to return for a longer stay.

Soggiorno ideale
Pros:

È ormai il terzo anno che soggiorniamo qui durante la due giorni di gita con il Trenino del Bernina.
Posizione ideale: fermata del treno esattamente di fronte e ideale per la partenza della passeggiata verso il ghiacciaio. Struttura accogliente e personale molto disponibile. Ottimo anche il ristorante

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist fantastisch, man isst gut und der Bahnhof liegt gerade vor dem Ha

Das Frühstück ist wirklich sehr gut. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Nebengebäude, das Zimmer einfach und zweckmässig mit einem sehr schönen Bad. Es war auch sehr sauber. Auch war es sehr ruhig im Haus. Das Personal ist sehr nett.

Cons:

Eigentlich nichts. Zu erwähnen ist aber, dass der Gletscherbach am Haus vorbeirauscht und sich je nach Wassermenge in ein tosendes Gewässer verwandelt. Personen mit sensiblem Schlaf empfehle ich Ohrstöpsel mitzunehmen.
