Double G Resort Anyer

I booked the hotel bcs it was stated as a new hotel. But when i came here, it is in serious concern that this hotel need to be maintained and IMPROVE of its cleanliness. Theres stained here n there on the bed sheets, the pillow sheets was dull, the toilet was dirty and all mold, even the trash can was rusty. The wooden door frame was chapped and the worst is the water was yellowish. Water kettle was not proper for usage, it had all these rust and dotted. Tv channel only available in 6 local channels. There were half eaten instant noodle outside the balcony. This is outrageous and a waste of money ! Never have i experience such a DIRTY HOTEL in my life. The swimming pool was DIRTY and full of white spots idk what’s that. Even the floor in the lobby or pool area were all dusty and have lots of bugs, the public trash can was full and full of flies & ants. Just eww :(

The “sandy” beach was damp! Lots of corals and covered by moss. I will not go back to this hotel even they gimme complimentary stay. Seriously, this is quite the worst hotel i ever experienced in my life. As i also travelled with kids, they cant even enjoy a single facility that was provided here. I dont feel safe at all. Thanks for the worst holiday spent!

The good thing about this hotel is it has a private beach and the room style is quite ok

Now, i have been to many hotels and if we compare the money spent to what we got in this hotel. Its the worst.

The staff did not wear mask, the price for inclusive breakfast was riddiculous where we only got to choose either fried rice, fried noodle or fried glass noodle (no buffet breakfast. The staff service was below average. No room phone, air con was leaking and the balcony drainage was not working.

For IDR 1 Million per night, its not worth it

We come to this resort on our last day of the school holiday.
When we first arrived, we quite surprise that this place only have 2 level and the area not so big.
But when we enter the room, its good enough for us..we stay at the beachview room. The room is big, there is a little kitchen with all the kitchen equipment..so we can cook by ourself if we are too lazy to go out.
The environment of this resort nice and comfy even its not so big. And located near the beach so we can hang around enjoying the view while the kid can play by the beach..
The breakfast is not so much variation but enough gor breakfast.
Overall, its nice to stay here..

If you vacation with family, chill without any noise here’s this the place. Unfortunately, everything has chance due to Mt Krakatau issue, damaging many hotel hading to closed.

The hotel quality is fair. Surprisingly, I should order my breakfast on Saturday morning. It is not a buffet breakfast. The reason may be not so many guests at that time. I think this is below the standard of 3.5 star hotel services. On Sunday, I had a buffet breakfast.

A pretty pleasant stay. The hotel was new so everything was clean and all things were put on the right place. Although the breakfast was not a buffet, but still it was a great one! The hotel’s directly connected to the beach and the view was mesmerizing. Pity that the wifi was strong in my parents’ room (almost to middle of the hotel) but not so in my room (most corner room in the hotel). But even so, i’d still recommend this! Great one.

Nice hotel close to the beach with a nice pool . Watch out the traffic

Recently new hotel with a quite place, since located quite far from the city center. Small hotel but they have enough facilities with nice swimming pool, bycycles, kids playground, small white sandy beach (some rocks surrounding). Good breakfast. In overall quite suitable for family staying with kids.

We booked Double G for a weekend trip to visit the volcano Anak Krakatao. We booked two rooms with "garden view", which turned out not to have a view to a garden but to a road under construction. The ocean view must have been beautiful, though, and we were willing to pay to change rooms but the ocean view rooms were fully booked for the weekend.

Apart from "garden view" not including an actual garden, we had a great stay. Rooms are new, clean and well kept. Noise from the road was moderate. The outdoor area is very nice, in particular dining in the garden close to the sea was very nice. Note that you cannot really swim on the beach (volcanic rock would damage you), only in the pool. As in many Indonesian hotels, you should not expect too much of the wifi.

Food was pretty average but not at all bad - certainly better than in many other Inodonesian hotels. And the staff members were really great and friendly. We can very much recommend the hotel.

Firstly I must say that although it probably doesn't fully qualify I was going to write a 4 Star review. However..........
We were in the area for the Wednesday and Thursday nights leading up to the Easter long weekend. We arrived at the Double G without a booking but the reception staff were on the case and quickly prepared adjoining rooms right next to the pool. The rooms were clean, modern and spacious; very nice.
The beach front like all in the area is strewn with lava from the major eruption of Krakatau in the late nineteenth century so proper swimming is not easy but just lolling around in the shallows is fine and there are interesting rock pools. There are also a couple of gazeboes and a viewing platform.
Following a spectacular sunset over Krakatau we prepared for dinner and accepted the offer of an outside table by the pool. Everything was fresh and well cooked, my Ikan Bakar was perfect.
The next morning staff came and took our breakfast order which was delivered to the room. Not much choice but OK. After a morning sight seeing we had another tasty lunch by the pool followed by a lazy afternoon on a gazebo on the beach.
By now the hotel was filling rapidly ahead of the long weekend and the staff put out tables all around the pool and garden for dinner. Then my wife went collect the menu and was told the only choices were fried rice or fried noodles!! That's right the night before a public holiday the hotel had run out of food!
We grumbled but accepted what there was. Part way through one of the team had been out and bought a few fish so the meagre dinner was supplemented a little. Breakfast in the dining room the next morning was a slight improvement but still a bit thin.
When we were checking out I asked where was the management/supervisor to be told they hadn't arrived yet!! On the Friday of a long Easter weekend!!
Let me be clear. This is a very nice hotel in a great location, provided you don't need miles of white sand beach, and the crew were a delight; always cheerful, polite and helpful. The hotel and the crew were badly let down by the management/supervision.
We will give them another chance but if booking note the above and ask about food supplies/

We stay on the end of december 2017...really love staying in this small but unforgetable resort in anyer beach area.
We can see a clear and beautiful sunset right at the back of this hotel's private beach.
We stay at the executive suite that have a ocean view at the 2nd floor.
Only the breakfast items is so limitted so hope this hotel will improve this.

- Reasonable price

Minus:
- Lack of staffs, you might be waiting for some times when check in or check out, including for room service
- Breakfast menus are not so various
- Small dining area
- Far from everywhere

The room is clean and the overall design of the hotel, check-in counters, pool table, kid's corner is excellent. The location is good and it has its own small beach.
There was a surprise when they gave me a small nasi tumpeng and candles on three-stack waffle to blow on my birthday. It really made my day.

I booked by phone and the reservation was great.Price is Rp.1.300.000 per night (and this is 2 star hotel) i paid do the reservation was great , tone of voice it was nice , very helpful.
First day Friday arrive , everything was ok , enjoying the place
Second day Saturday since the morning 5am i woke up , TV and Wifi not working at all, with the reason that there is a broken wires coz there is entrenchment on the road and they accident broke the wire , plus they fixing it from aston side then Hawaii then double G
My point is if there is a broken wire why they have to fix it from Aston side then Hawaii then double G , doesnt make sense at all. I check in front of Aston and Hawaii and there is entrenchment at all.

Without TV and WIFI for the whole day , the next morning before check out the TV and Wifi is working

Better dont lie to the customer and tell the truth!!!

small 2-stories hotel with surroundings that is far from my expectation of a beach resort. lots of flies flying around the lobby and pool area so it's kinda gross. breakfast variety is limited and tastes so so. room is OK though.

Actually, if you went to cilegon, you not always have to stay in there,go to anyer and enjoy the best sunset that you can see there&DoublebG with beach as backyard and M. Krakatau as sunset view package, give you a very romantic atmosphere..
But, for the meal, may be you can try from the outside...

This a 2 storey resort by the beach with nice pool. Stay at the deluxe ocean view room so you can have direct access to the pool and nice view of the beach. Although pricewise this hotel is expensive for a 2 star, the service is what you can expect from a 2 star. Staff are polite but you can tell that they are not hotel trained. Breakfast has a poor selection, restaurant is at basement, orange juice is not fresh, but the nasi uduk is good, you will not miss much if you skip breakfast, I dont see people lingering around breakfast. Lots of flies around the area. There is no sandy beach, only small rocky beach. Overall, its a nice place to stay if you dont mind paying premium price for a 2 star service.

Good hotel for a short break. Fresh air from the sea. Great sea view from 1st floor room. A coral beach, limited sand beach. Good for family with small kids.Improvement on the room service for dinner would be an added value. They need to understand better on what are offered in the menu.

Clean and good hotel recommended to stay in Anyer.

If the pool and the private beach are bigger it will be perfect. If there is a lift also will be much better.

Food need some improvement in the context of variety of foods and taste.
