The night club and late bar is only open on Saturday nights. Guests get complimentary access to both. The late bar is over 21s and has a cocktail bar.
There is a on-site elevator that gives guests access to the second floor. It has a separate entrance from the hotel lobby.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Breakfast was terrible and didn't eat. We paid extra £15 each for this but flavourless, low quality, cheap produce. Cafe over the road was much better.

Everything good bed comfortable and room warm
The building is old but don't let that put you off. Inside it is clean and extensively renovated. Room is a good size, as is ensuite. The bar has been modernized tastefully and it seems the hotel is used by many local groups as a venue. Breakfast was excellent with extensive choice. Staff were friendly and informative. A centre light in the bedroom is always a plus!

The shower in our room was not working, so i mentioned it to the receptionist when i went down for breakfast. we were immediately offered the use of another room to shower, and there was someone in immediately to assess it, and do repairs, though we were checking out. The hotel itself is tired looking. but well kept and staff were excellant.
Room locks were awkward to manage, especially for older adults.
