The night club and late bar is only open on Saturday nights. Guests get complimentary access to both. The late bar is over 21s and has a cocktail bar.
There is a on-site elevator that gives guests access to the second floor. It has a separate entrance from the hotel lobby.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. The room was a bit small and old fashioned.
The location was good
It was very outdated. There was no insulation which meant we had to listen to an absolutely vial man roaring and shouting at his partner all night. I know this is not the fault of the hotel but possibly insulation for noise might be something the hotel would look into. It's very old fashioned and could do with being dragged into the times.

Booked in @ 4pm on a Saturday, room ready, restaurant busy , ceile music up the back all you needed was an instrument to join in, I got a 8oz sirlion with mushroom,onions and chipsvery tasty and very resonable €25.Service was brilliant, Breakfast was good too.

This is our first time staying in Castlebar and we are so delighted we spent it with Ivy Tower Hotel. This accommodation ticked every box. It is in a great location, very clean and cozy, our bed was so comfortable, a fabulous bathroom with a spacious shower. You get all the extras you need; toiletries, towels, hairdryer, etc. The staff are all brilliant. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. We experienced a fun and easy-going atmosphere here. Everyone is up for a great chat. We made some friends and memories for life.
We didnt eat here but the food looked and smelled delicious, definitely trying on our next visit. And great value!

Location is in the middle of the town but quiet for our stay. Rooms clean and was able to book in a bit early. Staff very friendly and helpful.
