Luxury hotell but the rooms were badly isolated and you hear your neighbors when you want to sleep. Had to call the reception as we we’re hearing the tv from the next room.
The spa is just an cold pool and the saunas wasn’t warm enough.
We arrived late at night with our three young children, tired after a long journey. We had booked a villa and were looking forward to a peaceful and pleasant stay, but unfortunately, we were deeply disappointed.
As soon as we entered the villa, we were greeted by an unpleasant sight: long-legged silverfish crawling on the ceiling, a dead beetle in the shower, and spiders hanging from the ceiling. My husband had to go to the reception, and we were promised two rooms in the main building instead.
When we finally reached those rooms, they were no better. We found a live silverfish on the floor in one of the rooms, and outside our other room, there was a large dead brown beetle. We felt very uncomfortable staying there due to the pests and insects, and now we were left without accommodation in Sarajevo in the middle of the night, with three tired and disappointed children.
We contacted the hotel's manager, Nermin Horman, who informed us that they would not reimburse us for the nights, even though we had paid over 500 euros for accommodation that we never used.
After a long night of searching for another hotel, we eventually found a room at Ibis Styles. When we checked in, we realized that it was actually a sister hotel to Tarcin. The room was okay, but the breakfast was another disappointment. Dirty plates, an unappetizing buffet, and ants in the restaurant quickly made us realize that we didn’t want to stay here either.
There was a wedging at the hotel and therefore no access to the restaurant and we had to order room service which is a shame. The breakfast was not nice (not fresh cakes and only a few options)
I had villa room. Very clean and cosy compared to villas in other countries.
Bathroom: i have noticed in eastern europe and central asia they seem to all have the foul drainage smell in all bathrooms. It must be the way drainage is designed. For a 5 star the toiletries wasn't on par. No fans, leave window open 24/7. Toilets have bidets in rooms but not in public areas, no issues with running water.
Breakfast: expected alot more for 5 star. It was average.
Dinner: excellent food. All dishes were tasty. Mohitoes not expensive.
Mensur is the best. Very friendly and welcoming same with all staff.
Staff: everyone polite and friendly, however there is always the odd one that dont like their job or not bothered to go that extra mile. For example reluctant to help get rental car or told us when all horse riding places where closed. They have lazy horse ranch 10minutes away which is open every day all year around.
I would stay again. Very peacfull and quite. However it is far from city center, mostar and waterfall.
Theg have baby horse kids can feed and pet as well as a few goats.
Visitied early april 2025. Weather was freezing. Sometimes snow. Started to get warm just before i left.
Games area downstairs, not much to do. Pinball machine half worked. They have softplay for kids on ground floor very helpful.
Super Hotel und super Zimmer. Sehr gutes Restaurant
Amazing
Truly a must visit and stay in property when you’re in Bosnia
The best hotel in Bosnia
The hotel has several villas on their grounds, natural beauty surrounded by forest trees, it was magical with white snow. The villas are of a modern design which are built to compliment the forest environment. To top it all off e enjoyed the hotel wellness and spa facility, rich buffet breakfast and friendly ad attentive service.
The location is amazing in the middle of a forest surrounded by mountains. We spent a wonderful Christmas Eve at the resort. The fitness center is open 24 hours. The outside playground is in the middle of the forest, perfect for children. Overall a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend to families with kids.
It was great! the place is amazing and its highly recommended to have massage their.
You have to know that there is no Alcohol :( but you can bring your own . . . I didn't know this before going there :)
You have to specifically ask them to clean the room
You have to specifically ask them for water in the room
They Overbrook so they didn't give me the room I asked for when I checked in. They gave me a room of lower standard. They did refund me a night stay though
The property location was excellent , the atmosphere was echo friendly , the room was great, the breakfast was quiet and beautiful scenery
Very nice hotel very good staff very good service loved it
Rooms and bath rooms very poor which need more cleaning and good furnitures and amenities
Staff not friendly and helpful
Except breakfast waiters
Quilty of food need more improvement specially vegetables and fruits
And there is no items for dietary people
Loved the location, hotel design, facilities it offered, the serenity of the forest, the reception desk staff were fabulous, the spa center staff were extremely polite and helpful, food was excellent. However, we picked the wrong time to go as the hotel had a weekend special for families with 2 children, and children under 12 were there for free and it was extremely noisy as the children were running through the hotel with no parent supervision, loud, screaming, yelling, demanding, whilst both the hotel staff and other guests had to endure it all whilst most of the parents simply assumed the behavior of their children was to be tolerated as they paid for the service. The indoor pool, where it clearly states no jumping was used like a trampoline. The serenity returned Sunday afternoon when most families left the hotel and we purposely stayed back till late to enjoy and reclaim the beauty of the hotel in this serene forest environemnt. Trust me, I am a parent and love children, but when young couples assume that their children can run wild, scream and behave uncultured is "new age" please take us all back to when manners and social behavior were part of child upbringing. Look forward to returning to the hotel, but prior to booking will make sure it is not at a time of their family special.... Seriously, highly recommend the hotel.
Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff.
Amazing property that we keep coming back again and again. The level of care that the staff puts into meeting the guest expectations are unmatched. Many times, the director and the manager have personally called me to make sure that all is superb. In terms of amenities, nothing is left to imagination--this truly is a 5-star hotel where you can unwind and relax. From the toiletries and robes to spa services to indoor games to outdoor activities to breakfast buffet, the place is gorgeous and family-friendly. Just tried some of their signature virgin cocktails last time and they were great. My family comes to escape our busy life every chance we get and we are looking forward to another great stay. It has become a home away from home.
This place was amazing! It is a brand new beautiful resort in the most picturesque setting. Big rooms with a balcony that has an amazing room. I had a “Mountain View” room and highly recommend it, worth the upgrade to see the sunset and rise over the mountains. Very quiet and peaceful place.
The staff is wonderful. Every person I met went out of their way to make sure my time there perfect. The drivers were so nice, I recommend having them pick you up at the airport and the shuttle into Sarajevo old town.
Nice place to relax. Outdoor activities and wellness and spa
