Would recommend and would definitely stay again.
Pros:

OMG. Location, location, location. We had a balcony window with a view of the cathedral and Gaudi palace.

Cons:

The rooms were lovely but could use an update in decor.

Good location, needs some cosmetic renovations
Pros:

Nice old hotel in excellent location across the street from the Gaudi Palace/Museum. Room was a good size with private bath. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly but seemed overworked and uderstaffed. Had elevator to upper floors.

Cons:

The room was very cold. There was a minisplit heat/AC unit in room but no control to turn it on. Not much of a view out window. Room is in need of cosmetic renovation to match the old world charm of the hotel - for example the inside of closet was covered wood-grain contact paper that was peeling and scraped. Should provide more quality soaps & toiletries given the price of room. I may stay there again although I thought it was overpriced for the quality of the room.
