Superb 2 night stay in a Classic Double (Petaluma) with a front facing view.
The hotel is well located and has a wonderful atmosphere. The room was clean, organised and had a very comfortable bed. The heated floor in the bathroom was well received.
All facilities including bistro and bar are second to none. Staff very welcoming and diligent.
Many fine hotels in Stratford but I'm delighted we chose the Du Vin. Highly recommended - best wishes to all.
Wonderful stay. Thank you. We will definitely return. Hopefully often. In particular rooms very comfortable and staff fantastic. Breakfast kipper a rare find
A lovely hotel, friendly staff.
Mary at breakfast was great.
Breakfast was good. Great food and choice.
When booking leave your car registration number to secure a space outside.
Miranda at the restaurant was so kind and very attentive! we loved the food and the amazing conversation. She only just started and is a standout.
Once again an amazing stay at the Hotel Du Vin in Stratford upon Avon. Mary is fantastic and as ever was full of energy, professional and attentive to ensure my experience was first class. Merry Christmas to the team and all the very best for the New Year.
Another great stay. Arrived early and received a very friendly welcome. Reception person (sorry, didn't get name), phoned to let me know when room was ready (early, which was great). Things like that make such a difference.
Balcony room on the third floor (balcony a bonus in warmer months). Comfortable bed, coffee machine, kettle etc. Walk in shower. Nice toiletries (in dispensers).
Great breakfast. Not extensive choice of buffet items, but all good quality. Hot food cooked to order, exactly as requested and very tasty.
Great location in town. An abundance of restaurants close by, as are the theatres and shops of Stratford-upon-Avon.
Highly recommend this hotel.
Nice hotel in great location in the middle of Stratford-upon-Avon, really friendly helpful staff, very nice clean quality comfortable rooms, good unlimited WiFi, fantastic breakfast which is cooked fresh and not buffet style, they only have 7 pre booked parking spaces, there is public car park right outside the hotel £24 for 24hrs, and NCP across the street,
Central located hotel with a clean cut boutique style. Reserved parking for hotel pre bookable and situated on a large carpark with payable machines.
Large inner lounge and bar area located near to the lower level restaurant. Staff are very friendly from house keeping, reception and waiting on staff. Shout out ti Mary who is a great wake up call at breakfast always full of life a cheery sole that nothing is too much trouble for. I can’t help but feel she makes a big difference with her patter and charm making you feel awake! A real credit every time I stay!
Food in the evening in restaurant was picked form a great choice with a French theme . I highly recommend the fougasse bread and black olive butter amazing and sooo hot. Mains I picked the whole seabass cooked spot on crispy outer and stunning white flesh with fennel accompaniment. Being a sprout fan I choose these with chestnuts as a side! They were cooked beautifully not overdone so you get the texting taste.
Thank goodness the table clothes have gone for a while the HDV group have had them and in morning a white paper over cloth! They don’t suit the style of bistro they look cheap and tacky and belong in the tearoom and ritz!
In general pick a larger room to stay in here as the basic rooms are small and dark the next level have coffee machines, bath robes and most baths and showers.
If staying anywhere in Stratford this is the best hotel and highly recommended.
I have stayed here multiple times and it is without a doubt the best hotel in Stratford (I’ve stayed in multiple different hotels across the town). Location fab, staff are extremely friendly and go the extra mile, rooms are stunning, clean and so luxurious. Breakfast is incredible - Mary has always been so welcoming, friendly and attentive every time I’ve stayed. Will always recommend here to anyone who is visiting!
Really nice hotel and it’s been an enjoyable stay, the food was amazing and it’s great that the hotel is situated in the middle of town and I can move around easily without the car. The breakfast staff was very attentive especially Marry who took care of us really well. I would recommend coming to this hotel as the staff and the food are amazing.
We recently booked a private dining room at the Hotel Du Vin in Stratford for a family gathering of almost 50 guests. It was a wonderful evening and couldn't have gone any better. The service from the catering and bar staff was excellent and the 3 course meal was superb (I can definitely recommend the beef!) . I'd also like to say a big "thank you" to Ewa, for her support in organising the event. We will hopefully be back!
Six of us stayed at the Hotel du Vin, Stratford-Upon-Avon this last weekend. The location was perfect – just outside of the busier town centre and with ample (paid) parking at the rear of the hotel. The bar and breakfast area were stunning and the rooms lovely (this included a fabulous shower – once the super sensitive gauge was understood!). The staff were all very professional but Miranda deserves a particular shoutout for her service over breakfast, both days we stayed. Miranda went above and beyond to make us feel special and to provide to our very particular needs, all with a very genuine smile on her face – a real credit to her wider team. The town itself is a joy to behold and well worth a visit, rain (very much in our case) or shine.
Lovely hotel . Room spacious, bed very comfortable. Great shower . Good choice at evening meal .Did not disappoint . Breakfast has a great choice , special mention to Mary at breakfast.
Couldn’t fault any of the staff we came in to contact with . Would definitely stay again .
Went for a pre- theatre meal before going to The Best Put Theatre (next door, not the other well known theatre).
Although there was a big Christmas party coming in later they were able to accommodate us. The turkey dinner on the prix fixe menu was really tasty and the crème brûlée was delicious. Very attentive staff (Arnas in particular).
Now our go-to venue before the theatre
Stylish cosy hotel with wonderful service especially at breakfast hosted by Mary and Miranda and cooked by talented chef Orsy.
Excellent stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay we rang before our visit to reserve parking because my husband is awaiting surgery so we needed parking as near as possible . We also asked for early check in which was also arranged. We arrived to a very nice welcome and 2 lovely rooms. The hotel is immaculate and the staff are fabulous. Reception was really helpful and on our day of checkout we asked if it was possible to keep our room a little long because me and my son wanted to do a bi of shopping, again this request was granted We had a lovely breakfast again staff lovely and one lady asked if we would like a family photo which was very kind. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was lovely. We highly recommend a stay here the hotel staff are a credit to the hotel and we wish everywhere was up to this standard nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a great location also. We will be back.
It's excellent hotel and very good services, especially for the breakfast. The people are very kind. They always try to satisfy you what you need. Especially thank you to chef Zoltan and Mary. Thank you very much.
Great stay - comfortable room and lovely food. Waiting staff for breakfast (Mary) and dinner (didn’t catch their names) were excellent. We had chateaubriand and Malbec one night for dinner, Christmas turkey the second before seeing our friend play First Witch in The Scottish Play
My husband and I stayed for two nights. The room was very comfortable. The food was excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Mary who served us lunch on arrival and breakfast two mornings went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She was very careful about my gluten free diet so I felt sure that everything would be ok which was very reassuring. She is a great ambassador for your brand. Well done to everyone. We will definitely come back.
A really beautiful stay with kind caring staff and a beautiful restaurant and Mary at breakfast was excellent - we’ll come again
