Pros:

Peace and quiet.

Cons:

Bar shuts at 5pm and there's nothing within a walking distance for food, so either take away or drive somewhere.

Staff lovely, room really nice , food good.

Cons:

When we walked into the room there was an awful smell hit us straight away of damp carpet , we thought we would get nose blind to it but unfortunately we didn’t. It was coming from the carpet near the patio doors ovs getting wet from the hot tub and not drying causing the awful smell.

Agréable courte étape reposante, sur la route du retour.
Pros:

Situé dans un hameau (lieu de naissance du scientifique Thomas Wright) cette étape nous permettait de visiter Durham avant de découvrir Fountains abbey sur la route du retour vers la France.
Des réunions familiales y sont organisées.
Chambres rénovées avec goût et très bon petit déjeuner traditionnel anglais.

Hen party, baby shower,tree surgeon

Some staff were nice food was nice, was nice inside of the place

Cons:

On arrival had to wait to be checked in as no staff on reception, we got shown to our room and then they left and said when you come down just ask a member of staff to show you around as the person who took us upto the room was busy with a baby shower, anyway just decided to find our own way around the place, then we realised not only was their a baby shower they also had a hen party aswel so half the garden out back was blocked off and couldn't walk through hotel to get outside had to carry drinks and walk around the outside and to make it even worse not sure if it was part of the hotel 2 tree surgeons cutting down trees was really noisy couldn't enjoy our drinks outside as couldn't hear yourself think this was meant to be a relaxing night away, we should of been told by the hotel that all of this was going on or we would of booked for another night or somewhere else and bed was not very comfortable
