Pros:

Ideal location for safari trips, big rooms and ours had a view of the lake!

Cons:

Property buffet dinner was a little basic. It lacked any type of ‘vibe’ but most people are passing through for just 1 - 2 nights

Direkter Blick auf den Safari-Park
Pros:

Die Aussicht der Zimmer 402 und 403 waren absolut perfekt, wir hatten direkten Blick auf den See im Udawalawe-Safari-Park und sahen vom Balkon aus die Elefanten.
Die Hotelanlage ist sehr ansprechend gestaltet, hier findet sich sogar ein kleiner Kinderspielplatz. Das Wasser im Pool war angenehm warm.
Personal zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich, Essen gut.

Cons:

Bei voller Auslastung des Hotels könnte es im Restaurant und auch beim Pool vielleicht etwas eng werden (wir bevorzugen eher kleine Unterkünfte die familiärer sind).

Super freundliches Team, schöne Lage und Sicht!
Pros:

Sehr schöne Lage, super freundliches Team, waren alle sehr zuvorkommend. Der Manager war überaus bemüht, damit wir einen schönen Aufenthalt haben, danke dafür. Die Lage ist toll mitten in der Natur, sehr schöne Aussicht auf den See und in die Landschaft. Mein Sohn hat den Pool und die Wasserrutsche geliebt. Das Zimmer war gross und sauber mit toller Aussicht ins Grüne und das Vogelgezwitscher am frühen Morgen ist eine wahre Freude.

Excellent location, helpful staff and good food
Pros:

Very clean hotel with very helpful staff and the food is good. View from our room was beautiful.

Cons:

It would be nice to have an outside bar, especially on the rooftop which seems under utilised. The pool bar was very noisy and not a place for relaxing!

Comfortable 1 night stay after safari before moving on

Spacious and clean, staff helpful and courteous

Cons:

Breakfast wasn’t great, hotel gives the impression of a place which has lots of coach groups passing through where food standards don’t really matter too much. Quite a rambling disjointed layout. Location a bit remote, we got a Tuk Tuk into Udawalawe to visit the elephant transit home which was worth it, returned to the town later to eat as didn’t fancy the hotel food

Fint sted nær nasjonalparken.
Pros:

Kort vei til safarien med meget god guide bestilt via hotellet. Store og fine rom. Veldig bra basseng. Enkelt treningsrom.

Cons:

Vi var ikke så fornøyde med middagen.

God morgenmad

Cons:

Vi fik ikke gjort rent i de tre dage vi var der.

Maden udover morgenmaden er noget kedelig og vi tog til Udawala by de to af aftenerne for at spise istedet.

Lidt kedelig hotel, der er ikke meget at lave men der er til gengæld meget roligt.

Everything was very good. Service was good and breakfast exceeded our expectations but biggest bonus is that we saw an elephant, buffalos, deer, peacocks, eagles and many other animals while we were standing by the swimmingpool at the hotel.

Det var fint for pengene :) Bookede suiten og bestilte roomservice i to dage - det var sjovt og maden og servicen var OK. Glimrende pool.

Fik en elendig massage i noget der lugtede af fritureolie, men det kan man bare lade være med at købe 😂
