Comfortable place and peaceful!
Pros:

So comfortable and calm!

Cons:

A little too far from the restaurants and places to visit on Arashiyama, but just a little is a great walk to see all the nature and beauty of Arashiyama!

Traditional Japanese feel yet modern
Pros:

Rooms had a traditional Japanese feel yet modern. Staff were exceptionally responsive and helpful. Located near Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, it had a suburban and quiet feel. Free drinks from bottled water to coffee and tea all day long. Laundry onsite. Best of all it’s reasonably priced.

Cons:

Only one laundry machine - competitive if lots using it. As it’s in a quiet suburban area, restaurants opens late and closes early (majority closes by 6p).

Comfy stay in a great location.
Pros:

The rooms were really spacious and clean, they had the right amount of comfort and utility.
The staff were amazing and helping us through the stay and holding on to our baggage on the day we checked out.
Arashiyama is further from the city but to be honest it's really a good deal compared to city prices, paying for the bus / train is cost effective if you want a place to rest and comfortable.

Cons:

Nothing in particular, everything was up to date and well kept.

Big nice room in Arashiyama near train
Pros:

Liked the rooms- big ,clean, white linen sheets, bathroom separate toilet from bath, had dinning table

Cons:

For the price, really expensive hotel.
But didn't have microwave in the room, breakfast not included even though the price is high, they charged me 4,000 yen extra for TAX. So the price went up even more!

When you enter the room, the door is like a storage room door, metal gray uninviting feel...But inside is ok.

The noise- very noisy cars from the road, noisy guests, Big you can hear the room next door and footsteps upstairs. I think walls are paper thin and floors too.

A perfect solution to enjoy Kyoto with privacy and comfort

It is very convenient as it is closed to railway. Rooms are big and clean. Staff is perfect. It is a good hub to visit Kyoto and Osaka

Excellent value and a perfect team
Pros:

It is very convenient for visiting Kyoto as it is connected to train station. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is good.
Rooms are large and clean.
Very nearby there is a very nice Onsen
It is perfect to visit Arashiyama before tourists arrival.

Cons:

May be the view is not attractive

マンションをリノベしたことによる部屋の広さ、風呂の使い勝手の良さ

Cons:

スタッフがアルバイト然としている。特に電話応対に不安しかなかった。ホテルマンと思ったら最低ランク、ユースホステル程度と思った方が精神衛生上良い。その割に宿泊費はシティホテルレベル。価格とスタッフの質が見合ってない。その割に口コミ投稿をやたらと求められ、品質と行動が見合ってないと感じた。

壁が薄いせいか他の客の騒ぎ声や走り回ってる音が聞こえて、かなりうるさかった。

A wonderful, comfortable stay with exceptional service and thoughtful details.
Pros:

Very clean, and the junior suite was the perfect size for two people. The staff went above and beyond, adding thoughtful personal touches that made the stay feel special.

Cons:

The parking is a bit far from the property. I recommend dropping off your luggage first before parking so you don’t have to carry everything the full distance.
