Travelodge by Wyndham Walterboro

I did say you get what you paid for. Under normal circumstances I will never book this hotel. The fact that I was driving from up north down south and I would just looking for any place to crash. I found this cheap hotel and as it is cheap in a price it’s also cheap in the service towels has been Overused. The bed is OK. They clean the room, but everything there is old. They just need to take care this place a little more and at least for a coffee for the travelers as the coffee machine was broken. I would love to give better reviews and more stars, but this is not fair to get more than what you provide

Strong smell of both curry and Marijuana in our room as well as outside in the parking lot. It was very uncomfortable and we had to leave to find other accommodations.

When we told the two employees, the young lady seemed as though she wanted to help but the older man basically shrugged his shoulders and said oh well. The young lady looked apoplectic but neither offered a remefy so we checked out with no refind,
discount or being offered a different room.

First appearance room was pleasant and bed was comfortable BUT I had asked for a non smoking room when I entered I could smell smoke and it had a musty odor. I have asthma and am very sensitive to agitants.. in the bathroom mold was on the ceiling tiles. I informed management and they said they were aware of it. That is a health hazard and should not have been rented till it was fixed. Also the entrance door had gaps . It was not tight fitting and the smoke from people smoking outside drifted in. I took pictures if needed to verify

Check in was fast and simple,the young lady that checked me in was very nice and helpful..room was very clean,a/c was and working tv was working .
Room was clean
No complaints and yes would stay again

This property was so incredibly rundown and just gross. The rooms were dirty (hairs in tub, carpet was filthy), the sheets were rough and uncomfortable, towels were well worn and in need of replacement. There was mold/mildew growing on the ceiling in the bathroom- clear repeated water damage from the 2nd floor room. You could hear every step of the person staying in the room on the floor above.
At check-in I was disappointed to learn that while it was advertised as including breakfast, that statement was false. I have stayed at some budget properties during roadtrips (just need a place to sleep) and this was one of the worst I have seen.
The staff was nice, but that didn't make up for the rest.

Very bad had to wait for front desk personal to come out from inside and apparently didn't know much , door wasn't to safe, broken on bottom and dirty, also walls were not to clean.

The room is clean and attractive, with a very comfortable bed. The extra furniture is simple but utilitarian. Lighting, Direct TV, climate control, and layout are fine.

Not clean, smelly, unsafe, property was full of crashed cars, windows broken, door jams cracked, no ac, stained beds. Overall gross. staff did not want to help either.

Only think i didn't like is the bathroom, ceiling tiles mostly all stain with water damage and tub was missing a part. Mainly they need to fix bathrooms a lot better. Other thing the A/C location pretty poor, it took a lot of time to get the room cold.

We stay here on our way to Florida. Its convenient, cheap and our favorite restaurant is right down the road.

It was clean accommodations at a reasonable rate.

Andy the manager was wonderful to us and we enjoyed clean rooms and friendly service. Would definitely stay again

Used their services on our way back too. Both our experiences were great. Checking out was easy. Lots of places close by for dining and breakfast makes it easy.
