Pros:

Close to Thirsk, free parking

Cons:

Room on a main road and kept awake all night with loud engine noise, tired and basic room, mattress like a pool table and pillows as thick as tissue paper, tiny bathroom with inadequate lighting for contact lens insertion and shaving.

The staff were lovely , went out off there way to help but only two people to do everything

Next door too the lodge was disgusting , you were Woking at 4am with Cockerell, then you had hogs and chickens et c. It was disgusting to see it was nasty too look at
as well . I'm done ..

Pros:

The staff were helpful and polite which is an easy recommendation as there are only two. This has to be the responsibility of the company who owns this chain of hotels. The meal deals were exceptionally good value which we used on both evenings. The staff were helpful in securing a place for our bikes so all credit to the two members of staff.

Cons:

The deco overall could be updated a little, the shower in the en suite left a lot to be desired. There was very little water pressure and the shower head, had to have a towel wedged in place to stop it from falling down.

Um ehrlich zu sein, gar nichts

Cons:

Das Zimmer war nicht wirklich sauber! Der Teppich sehr dreckig, die Bettwäsche hatte alte Teeflecken! in der Bar hingen Elektroleitungen an blanken Wänden, es gab zwar Getränke - aber aus dreckigen Gläsern, ohne Eiswürfel! Vor dem Haus war sehr nah die Hauptstraße und vor allen Dingen Hühner und ein Hahn, der um 4.30 Uhr anfing! Dazu war es im Haus sehr hellhörig!

Nie wieder!!! Finger weg!
Pros:

Parkmöglichkeit ist gut, das war es dann aber schon.

Cons:

Das Hotel macht einen vernachlässigten Eindruck. Die allgemeinen Räumlichkeiten sind kahl - man möchte sich dort nicht aufhalten. Die Zimmer sind dated und klein. Das Badzimmer ist extrem eng, sodass man zwischen Waschtisch und Dusche kaum zur Toilette kommt. Auch die Dusche selbst ist extrem eng. Es gibt keine Ablagemöglickeit.
In unserem Zimmer war die Heizung total kaputt - entweder heiß wie in einer Sauna oder gar keine Heizung. Im Bad hat nur eine schwache Deckenlampe funktioniert, das Licht beim Spiegel ebenfalls komplett kaputt. Ein anderes Zimmer wurde uns erst am zweiten Abend angeboten, nach dem, wie schon am ersten Abend, zig Mal Leute ins Zimmer gekommen sind und Reparaturversuche unternommen haben. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt wollte mein Mann, bereits in seinen siebzigern nach einem anstrengenden Tag, nur mehr Ruhe und nicht mehr übersiedeln. Es war wohl die schlechteste Erfahrung die ich in einem Hotel gemacht habe (ich reise viel in UK) - unsere Anfrage nach einem gewissen Refund wurde abglehnt. Die Leitung der Saram Gruppe, zu der dieses Hotel gehört, ist der Ansicht, dass wir während unseres Aufenhalts mit keiner nennenswerten Beeinträchtigung konfrontiert waren.

I’m unhappy with the amount I paid and the stay was definitely not worth over £100

It was clean and the location was good

Cons:

There was no electricity for over an hour when I first arrived.
I was woken up at 9.40 pm by a phone call from the receptionist. I had to be up at 3am, I got no sleep due to this and then loud music playing throughout the night.
