Apart from breakfast,disappointing.
Pros:

Very good English breakfast,almost too much.

Cons:

There was no hot water on the second morning.
They offered to fix it but I had no time to wait so no shave,no shower.Not good at all.
The television was not working properly either.

Excellent value and great stay. Would love to return
Pros:

The staff were excellent. The facility was clean and the location was great for exploring many sites. Dinner in the dining room was excellent! We really enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

Vacuuming the carpets a bit more would be a great touch

Good stay in general.
Pros:

Lovely location and staff very friendly. Food was very good too.

Cons:

Very noisy and squeaky floors. Relaxing areas and breakfast room very basic and plain so didn’t feel warm and inviting.

Our Stay whist visiting the town of Thirsk and York
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay here, easy to find, large car park, our room was lovely, infact very big. Bed was comfy, nice large TV and plenty of cupboard space for our clothes etc. The breakfast were very good, good selection, we chose full English and Continental during our stay and both options were excellent. The bar prices were also very reasonable too. Many thanks.

Cons:

Our only grumble was the shower, the bathroom looked fabulous, very modern, shower with the 2 heads very impressive but due to very poor water pressure it was practically a waste of time .

Very tranquil and great value stay.
Pros:

The location is tranquil and very scenic.
Parking is ample and secure.

Cons:

The bed was quite uncomfortable, although a very large, and generous size.
It was quite noisy when guests moved around in other nearby rooms , sound proofing was poor in areas.

Wouldn't go there again.
Pros:

Location was near to where we wanted to visit. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

Breakfast meat products were of low quality. Place was grubby, dirty carpet in room, dirty marks on doors and broken fitting in bathroom.
