Later opening time for the bar / food on Sunday evening would be good.
Very noisy guests late into the night in the room next door (room 10) on the second night of our stay, which we later observed that these guests appeared to be event staff- heading to the marquee in the morning.

Very friendly staff.

Cons:

The room was extremely warm during the summer, and since there was no air conditioning, it became quite uncomfortable. Unfortunately, opening the windows wasn’t really an option because they didn’t have insect screens, so a lot of insects flew into the room.
I would recommend that the owner install insect mesh on the windows. It’s an inexpensive improvement that would allow guests to keep the windows open for fresh air without having to deal with insects. This small change would make a big difference to the comfort of staying here during the warmer months.

The place could be so much more.

If there was air-conditioning and a new toilet seat, I am sure we would have been happy.
Pros:

The food was very pleasant and the location. The room was nicely decorated and modern clean but needed new toilet seat. Lots off choice on tea tray. The staff were pleasant.

Cons:

The bedroom was extreamly hot. It was colder outside. We had the window open . As soon as we arrived they told us there were two fans in the room as if they new there was a problem with the temperature. The fans did not make any diffrence. The heat was trapped in the room. We where in a upstairs room. We did not sleep all night so we were to tired to have breakfast .We also had a very young inexperienced waiter, his second day on the job. He dropped a tray of drinks all over out table while we where eating. The alcahole weng allnover my bag.
Lack of training in my opinion. We where compensated with not having to pay for the two drinks. When I said about the restless sleep due to the heat the manager did not realy say anything.

Great location , lovely rooms and staff
Pros:

Location was lovely , staff were very helpful. Was an extremely hot evening and they tried really hard to find a comfortable room for me

Mould on the windowsill in the first room I was given was not good to see
