Unfortunately had an issue with the shower flooding, if the issue was not noted by the previous occupants then staff probably unaware. Did report for attention at the time of check out.

Great get away with fab views to have breakfast in the morning
Pros:

Location is beautiful, staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good

Cons:

The carpet in the room is a little tired. We understand the age of the property, but we found the uneven floors a little off putting.

Great location, owners thought of everything! Will definitely be back!
Pros:

Lovely location, lots of attention to detail. Easy to find and lovely decoration.
They have thought of everything. The rooms were spacious and well equipped with lovely big bathrooms.
There is a kids playroom in the pub which is also amazing!
The staff were all really friendly and welcoming!

Lovely 2 nights stay in peaceful surroundings.
Pros:

Beautiful location, nearby walks.
Very comfortable rooms, staff always friendly and helpful.
Excellent bar and restaurant, food served there was very good.

Cons:

The room looked newly decorated/fitted out with attractive shower room, however the shower leaked at the floor from underneath and power of the water from shower heads seemed low.

Nice place, would like to visit in summer
Pros:

Very welcoming staff. Nice situation. Cosy feel in bar. Ultra dog-friendly. Tiled chalet room with direct access outside for dogs.

Cons:

Disappointed to find no food available after 4pm on a Sunday, and bar closed at 8pm. After a long journey followed by a tiring day we had been looking forward to a nice relaxing meal and a few drinks.
Also disappointed at the set price for breakfast. Whether you feasted or wanted a very small breakfast, the charge was £15.
