Not the best
Pros:

The location

Cons:

The general cleanliness of the room was not good lots of spider webs on the ceiling and lights the shower had pink bacteria stains the bed was very low and uncomfortable the general furnishings were low quality and curtains poor the room windows were open to everyone who could walk past or you had to close the curtains completely which was quite depressing overall I would not recommend the property

Great overnight stay
Pros:

Great location by the river. Good sized room for the price. Separate building for those with dogs which suited us. Good for access to Cambridge and St.Ives. Good selection of drinks in the bar.

Cons:

Rooms have limited power supplies for charging computers and phones.

It would probably be quite busy in the summer with the mariner.we weren’t over impressed with the room

Breakfast was £15 each, a bit excessive. Being in a building away from the hotel, not good if it’s raining.

Really relaxing stay.
Pros:

The location was beautiful, so peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was very good. Good service. Really enjoyed our stay. If ever near here again would definitely come again. We highly recommend.

There was nothing to not like.

Nice setting, quiet if no big events, helpful staff, average hotel near st Ives and Cambridge
Pros:

Nice setting on a marina, also pub and restaurant if you wanted food and drink without driving. 5 to 10 mins from St Ives. Helpful staff who allowed easy check in and choice of room. Spacious shower and quiet when we stayed as no large events such as weddings

Cons:

Rooms overall quite clean but a bit tired. Towels had fake tan stains on them. Curtains hanging off curtain rail at one end and stained. Bedding very clean and comfortable apart from a large spider. This is not a luxury hotel but an average hotel.

Wedding fair
Pros:

Unfortunately had an issue with the shower flooding, if the issue was not noted by the previous occupants then staff probably unaware. Did report for attention at the time of check out.

Great get away with fab views to have breakfast in the morning
Pros:

Location is beautiful, staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good

Cons:

The carpet in the room is a little tired. We understand the age of the property, but we found the uneven floors a little off putting.
