Beautiful location and a warm welcome
Pros:

The friendliness of all staff made the stay more enjoyable. It's located next to a lake with lovely walks. Breakfast was super in terms of quality and quantity. I would definitely stay again.

Cons:

You had to check out at 10 but for £20 you can stay until 12.

Lovely staff and nice quiet area, perfect to explore the surrounding areas
Pros:

The front of house staff (who also worked the bar/restaurant floor) were an absolute delight.
They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, as were the morning staff who admittedly I didn't interact with as much due to me being out the door fairly early each morning.
There was also plenty of parking, the food was lovely, and the room was quiet which was perfect for me.

Cons:

There wasn't much to not like, I wasn't in the room for a prolonged period as I was more using it as a base of operations for viewing the area.

Pros:

Great location for walkers. Beautiful views. Our room was larger than usual, and the bathroom was huge. Loads of drawers (very unusual) and 1 double wardrobe. Ample coffee, tea, biscuits, etc. The room was so cosy. Breakfast was ok. Plenty of free parking. A very enjoyable stay.

Pros:

Staff friendly, proximity to the lake. Room well equipped - lots of tea & coffee. Received a partial refund for the loud music from the party in the function room which ended at 11pm.

Cons:

Excessive noise from a party in the function room. Should have been informed that there was a party planned that would interfere with our stay when we booked or given a room away from the party on arrival. TV placed on top of the wardrobe - difficult to see & change channels from the bed. Dining room was cold - luckily there was a table free in the bar where there was a fire.

A lovely get away for a couple
Pros:

The staff were really welcoming and attentive. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel and its surrounding are so pretty, even in miserable winter weather. We had dinner and it was delicious and very reasonably priced, with a good wine list. The cooked breakfast in the morning was also excellent.

Cons:

Nothing

The staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful

Cons:

The room we had was quite small and one of the beds had a definite slope. The shower was more than a bit gutless as well
