Lovely hotel in a gorgeous location
Pros:

What a location! Such a lovely area.
The hotel was pleasant, the room comfortable and clean and the staff helpful and pleasant. The food in the restaurant was good too. .

Cons:

The only issue was breakfast where it took way too long to get our cooked breakfasts (just short of 40min). Having said that, once it arrived, it was excellent.

Decent rooms, good food, lovely staff great location makes it right to return anytime,
Pros:

We didn’t have time for breakfast due to early starts
On some occasions we had a pack up
It didn’t happen everytime

Cons:

A lighting panel to turn the room light off instead of walking across the room to turn off the main lights
The mattress could do with replacing as it’s well worn out without giving the room number,

The grounds were lovely and the staff friendly. The room was very nice and the views great.

Cons:

The room was overall clean, but needs more attention in the corners.

There were vegetarian options, but extremely limited. Food was okay but nothing to write home about.

Disappointing. Not worth the cost.
Cons:

Poor lighting in room/bathroom. Faulty fittings. Uncomfortable furniture. Clock not working. No tea towel. Breakfast badly served - took 80mins one morning. Confusion over tabs. The staff didn’t have much of a clue.

Then disturbed by an extractor fan that came on at 6am!

A disappointing stay
Pros:

Staff were lovely and helpful
Location was good

Cons:

The allocated room was gloomy and small but they upgraded me to a better room
That was spacious and comfortable but there was no hot water in the morning so I had a cold shower
Breakfast was disappointing- I chose home made granola with yoghurt and seasonal fruits. The oats and fruit were burned and bitter, the fruit was a sweet compote and not fresh fruit.
