Scandic Helsinki Airport

The hotel is located about 200 m from Helsinki-Vantaa airport. Large room with large bathroom and everything was clean. We did not pay for breakfast as we had an early departure for the train.

Great airport hotel in Helsinki. Breakfast was fantastic! Hotel is right next to the terminal. We booked very convenient family room. One of our children had to take medicine which required to stay cold. The staff organised everything. Very much appreciated!

We had a very early flight and were happy that they started breakfast at 4 am.

The hotel is located just next to the terminal although the route is not completely rain proof. The family room was clean and very nice for two adults and two kids. You could almost (but just almost) see the runway from the window but I don't think there was any noise inside. The sliding door of the bathroom was a bit dangerous, though, as the handle went all the way to the opposing wall (beware of leaving your fingers between!). Breakfast was ok, pretty similar with other Scandics (not great, not bad) and it was served early enough starting 4am.

A great convenient stay within the airport area and I liked how the sauna/gym area was open until 23:00 to allow for later arriving guests to still have some time to use them.

Budget hotel from the Scandic chain found at a good price.
Reasonable sized room with a functional shower room ensuite.
Paid parking outside at over £11 a night. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Great for an overnight layover

Terrible air con, tiny rooms. Outside 29 C, in room 24 C at best with very inefficient air con turned on as cool as possible. Ripoff what comes to air con! Property is modern and right next to airport terminal. Standard room tiny and bathroom also not roomy. OK for one night prior to flight. Sauna and gym very far away, several corridors walk.

Nice location right at the airport. Great bus and commuter train connections to downtown Helsinki.

Well placed for overnight stays at the airport. So convenient, perfect location.

We chose this hotel since it is situated so close to the airport. We paid extra so we could check in early which was great for us. There was no noise from the airport. The staff in the reception was very nice. Both the room and the bathroom were clean.

Great stay

Great Hotel and service. Very nice rooms and enough space for four people family. The breakfast was very good and started already at four am so we could enjoy it before our early flight. It helps when you can park the car in the evening and then in the morning just walk to the terminal and start your trip.

Excellent place to stay for an early flight. We ended up staying the night before as well and went into Helsinki on the train on a day pass (only 12 Euros). It was steps from the hotel, and basically constant service. We never had to wait to get on one more than a minute or two. And we didn’t have to worry about transferring luggage from one hotel to another. Really a perfect experience. The only thing I missed there was salami type meat on the breakfast buffet, but the rest of the selection there more than made up for that! Will definitely stay again if I’m in Helsinki.

Our stay was a deligthful surprise, it's been a while since we have stayed in such a clean hotel room (and we travel a lot!). Also the friendly staff, especially at the breakfeast (they made saltess porridge for our baby with no extra charge and talked so nicely to our 4-year-old). Hotel was very quiet. Highly recommend this!

Room and amneties were great. Staff slow and not friendly. Questions were mostly answered by oh you can look that up on our website. Asking where the sauna is, rather than giving an answer that just take the elevator downstairs etc… I am given a qr code where I can look up what is offered. And which did not show where the sauna was located. In restaurant I waited every single thing I ordered at least 15-30 min. I was escorted to table fairly fast, but if I didn’t order right there but said let me look at menu first, they did not come back until I hollered a couple of times. Waited 45 min for my 14.50€ half shrimp sandwich, which actually was a half of toasted bread piece with shrimp on it. When I asked 25 min in if the cook went to catch the shrimp, got an answer, it’s coming, don’t worry.

Awesome stay right by the airport after a flight got in late at right. Conevient 24h supermarket close by in the terminal and easy acess to trains to continue travel! 10/10 would recommend and will stay again! Thank you!
