The food was excellent in the restaurant. The bed wasn't made daily though, and the bedsheets were a bit threadbare. The shower was only hot in the evening as well. But overall it was a good place to stay for a reasonable price.
Not the best place I’ve stayed - but not the worst place either. For one night it was good enough and the price was really cheap. Our adapters wouldn’t plug into their outlets- my husband has a c-pap and we needed to charge our phones -they created a way to plug in the machine. They gave a pool and we had planned to just lounge at the pool- but there were no lounge chairs, there were just no chairs at all at the pool. There was no toilet paper, we had to ask for it, but they did give us silverware with breakfast without asking. There is a mosque next door so 5 AM prayers started. The grounds were nicely cared for and breakfast was decent and included. The hotel is across the street from the lake. We were not comfortable going for a walk alone - too far out of my comfort zone when we don’t speak the language and we’re easily identified as tourists. The drive up the hill is amazing and a little scarey we had a local driver. The village at the bottom of the hill had a great saree shop with great prices and they spoke English
Excellent hotel overall but no intercontinental breakfast but rather indi cusine.
Hotel Hills is in the heart of the city. We stayed here 3 days for our Xmas holiday trip. Great location, walking distance to most of the site seeing, & trekking spots. We would say it suited our basic needs.
Staff were nice. But we feel they need to be trained I mean a simple smile can make things different.
Our room was new & clean, the bed was comfortable, but the room had no carpet/no bedroom rug/mat. We had informed this to front desk. Breakfast (included in our price of the stay). If you like home-style south Indian breakfast, great way to kick-start your day. But not much variety. My son wanted bread-butter-jam but that wasn’t there. All three days it was the same menu with 1 variant. If you like English-breakfast/north-Indian/continental, then you have to find an alternative.
Well maintained swimming pool. Ample space, sufficient parking. Not much TV channel options, mostly local. Hotel can arrange some entertainment for kids. However, with the price this is a best in the town and a good location that's in walking distance. I would recommend.
It was good. The hotel was better than expected and since we went for new year. They made lovely arrangements for the guests with magic show and firework displays.
