Pros:

It’s a cosy, small hotel with clean rooms and polite and helpful staff.
Don’t expect business class 4-star hotel, but compare to the cost and perfect location (2 minutes walk to Taksim square), I recommend it.

The hotel is very nice, clean and centrally located. You can walk to most places. The bad thing is that it doesn't have air conditioning. They have permanent heating, and the solution is to turn off the heating and open the windows, but lots of mosquitoes get in.

The young girl at reception was rude when we checked in. Breakfast was terrible. The staff seem miserable and to top it off we had money missing from our safe.

We locked it and had do not disturb signs on the door every day except 1 when we had the room cleaned.

This area is tourist hell, packed with people at all hours. I didnt feel safe in this city. People that went years ago loved it but istanbul has declined terribly post covid.

Save yourself and don't stay here.
