Decent hotel. Shambolic breakfast
Pros:

A decent (no better than that) hotel in a good location for exploring downtown Seattle. Rooms are spacious although slightly dated. There is no restaurant and only a very dowdy bar area. The greatest let-down of all (and one which will prevent me from staying again) is breakfast. What an utter shambles. A small breakfast area for the size of the hotel with a staffing crew who look and act as if they are bored out of their brains. Not a smile or any urgency in sight. Constantly running out of crockery and cutlery, which today was downgraded to plastic (yes plastic) knives and forks. Come on Marriott. Wake up. You can do better than this.

Wonderful Place to Stay
Pros:

The hotel was in a great location, very clean and safe, the rooms were spacious and super comfortable, and they had a GREAT breakfast. If and when we head back to Seattle we will definitely rebook. We traveled with our two kids (6 and 9) and with friends with kids similar ages.

Really enjoyed the city, very central location.
Pros:

Breakfast was really good and the room was spacious and had all the amenities.

Cons:

I stayed in the hotel for two nights Fri / Sat, I booked the days separately but the cost difference was significant. Friday night was $400 per room and the Sat cost me $588 per room, I thought this was excessive and the car park within the hotel was $137 for two days again I felt excessive.

Great location in downtown Seattle
Pros:

Great location in downtown Seattle. The staff was friendly and helpful and we loved our room. Also, we were able to walk to the space needle and to all of the great eateries near the hotel. This hotel is a light rail ride ($3) from the SEA-TAC airport and an Uber or cab ride away from the cruise port.

Stupid.....but a good stay.

So, it's what you expect from a Marriott...nice accommodations.....and this might be a little thing....but I was there for three nights with my extended family of 10 on a cruise to Alaska, this was during the World Cup...and while checking in, the front desk people, (who were awesome btw), were wanting to give us all these bottles of water....but we had our bags and luggage and did not have time to find space for 20 bottles of water so we told them we'll just come back for the water. We get in our rooms and my cousin and I go down to the lobby to get bottles of water and we then have to stand in line just trying to get bottles of water that SHOULD ALREADY BE IN THE ROOM LIKE EVERY OTHER HOTEL IN THE WORLD. We're standing in line and finally this African American with a bald head asked us what we needed and I wished to heaven I got his name....but he was so very cool and told us he'll just bring an entire case of water to our rooms and he brought it to us like 5 minutes later....everyone was commenting on how so very stupid it is to have to go down to them lobby and get water......otherwise everything and everyone was great! Just very stupid water policy.

Excellent stay!
Pros:

Marriott Residence Inn in Downtown Seattle was fantastic. We stayed here for 2 nights prior to our Cruise to Alaska. The staff were terrific! This hotel was clean and well appointed. The lobby was lovely and it provided a free breakfast that had so many options. The coffee was fantastic! We toured Seattle and were able to walk to many sights! I would highly recommend it!
