Pros:

The property was clean and secure. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Puntarenas is not a very good choice to stay. The beaches were littered with logs and wood debris. The buildings are run down and we did not feel safe going out after dark. This isn’t a reflection on the people of Puntarenas, just our perception.

Cons:

No water!!!
I had to use fresh water to finish to shower.
The personal of the establishment doesn’t give a damn, no financial compensenation offered, not even a bottle of water to replace to one I had to use.
Additionally, rooms are old.
Really not good quality/price ratio, especially for this country.
I don’t really recommend

Pros:

Clean rooms and nice staff. Excellent swimming pool.

The hotel was in the middle of streets, no green areas.

Pros:

A good place to stay before or after taking the ferry. It has a nice pool, spacious rooms, and secure private parking. It's safe and has a motel-like feel. Conveniently close to the beach with plenty of nearby restaurants. Plus, there's a fridge in the room.

Pros:

Great pool, convenient location, clean and comfortable

Cons:

They don’t have cribs, not a huge problem for our kiddo, but if your kid really needs a crib it’s good to know it’s not an option here.

Pros:

Clean hotel room.

Cons:

Very expensive for what you get! Pool is basically in the garage, a bit strange and in our opinion not really useable. Close to streets with blaring music which seems to never stop.
