The facilities, clean room
The room was very noisy in the night. The noise u can hear is from the outside like from the motor, car etc. The window has a very thin glass / or kind of plastic glass and when u close it u can see the side it is not really fully closed. That’s why I didn’t really sleep good. The room facility was good though.
Good newly renovated hotel
Hotel mett our expectations
Good service. Great food...I loved the restaurant on the top floor...it has one of the most interesting menus that I have ever seen ! Breakfast was also excellent. Getting poached eggs perfect is a skill...and the breakfast chef got them just right!
The room and bathroom are terribly small...that is unfortunate ...otherwise the hotel is terrific.
1 night is not enough! Super nice ng mga staff and the hotel vibes is the best.
The room is wonderful and very comfortable, and I truly appreciate the hospitality. However, the air conditioning doesn’t cool the room enough, so it feels a bit warm at times. The Wi-Fi connection is also quite weak, which makes it difficult to use. I hope these can be improved, but overall I enjoyed my stay. Thank you.
I had a wonderful stay at Ironwood Hotel. The staff were very accommodating, always smiling, and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming.
The breakfast buffet was one of the highlights of my stay. I really loved the menu, especially the fish embutido ,it was delicious and definitely something I looked forward to every morning.
Overall, my experience at Ironwood Hotel was excellent. The hotel offers great hospitality, good food, and a comfortable atmosphere that makes guests feel at home. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Best experience while we are in Tacloban. My husband really enjoy staying at the hotel. I will recommend Ironwood Hotel. Excellent rate from Location down to Amenities 🫶❤️
Ruth from the front desk needs to be more empathic and not just following by the book procedures. When asked about the standard procedure for the customers, she failed to provide unless was asked.
The location, and the restaurants are good.
The AC was broken the whole stay so it was so warm inside the room. The bathroom is so tight as well the trash can doesn’t even fit.
It’s clean, close to everything.
Well, I think this hotel is kind of overpriced. Its rates are almost at the same level as hotels in other provinces like Seda Bacolod and Iloilo. The air conditioning was not cool enough, and I ended up sweating for 2 days. The breakfast servings were limited, and the refills were slow — sometimes there were no refills at all. The internet was also slow. I got disconnected from several online meetings because of the poor connection. I hope they can improve this.
Everything was great. The staff was courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful The location was excellent getting from north tacloban to south was easy. The prices were excellent. We didn’t have a single issue. Ironwood is now our “ go to” in tacloban.
Staff
No hot water in room
The location..the room..the buffet..Worth it..
Nicest Room "Presidential Suite" we have ever stayed in and the largest in the Philippines. They upgraded us so we could be next to our family in another room.
good location.rooms are spacious and clean, hotel staffs are very accommodating.
The Leaf restaurant and lounge was exceptional. The food was great, the staff above par, and the ambiance amazing. Would go back JUST for that.
The smell of the room was like fish. There was a leak I believe from the bathroom to the sleeping area. The internet was down the entire first day/night we stayed. No ATM in the hotel. Since the internet was down, could not watch TV in the room. Needed to ask for extra toilet paper. Fiance said that the fridge items should have been free or cost less. Hotel hallway on our floor smelled odd, I assume because there was a restaurant 1 floor above. Hall outside of our room was used for storage.
