First is not a hotel is a air b&b.
Pros:

This place is not a hotel. They offer breakfast and when I got there they told us they don't serve breakfast we were without wifi and TV for 2 days...the beach is very faraway they lie about it too. This place is a house with 5 bedrooms. They rent each room.

Pros:

Pool is very very very small....no shade on pool deck for 90 pct of time....however ocean and sunset views are very nice....kitchen used by all guests is covenient and well equipped ....nail on the head was the 5 pct extra charge is you pay with credit card.

Pros:

Very nice. On hill overlooking Tamarindo and ocean. Very quiet. Only five rooms with shared living room and kitchen. Clean. Nice pool. Rooms on top and middle levels have very nice view.
Check-in done through rental agency office at base of hill. This was not clear during reservation process. Driver helped find hotel and check-in. Cleaning staff came but no on-site host when we were there.
