Great stay. We loved everything about the hotel. Especially the staff in the restaurant.
Very attentive staff. Cozy rooms. The food was very good.
There is some improvement to be done with illumination maintenance in common areas.
Overall great experience. And love the green foundation you've got going on and how it improves the beach area.
I hope beach bathers can appreciate, respect and add to this noble movement.
Weekend ecologically enjoyed!
The room ac was not working well and the bugs in the room was bitting me and my wife bad.
This was arguably the grossest and most disgusting hotel i have ever stayed in. Maybe i got the last room. This morning it smelled like a septic tank in my room. Bathroom was gross- shower - sink was rusty. Windows did not close fully. Lighting in room was horrible. Check in was disjointed. I had to go to the bar on the beach to check in. It took way, way too long. Then i had to go back to get a key for the safety deposit box - which they demanded $50 - only cash - just for the key. This hotel is gross. This area is sketchy. This city is probably the dirtiest - full of garbage everywhere - i have ever been in and i have traveled the world. Yuck. I will never go back to this city. Stay away. I only ended up there b/c of a mixup with my rental car. They never showed up to grab me. That is a separate issue. Someone swindled me at th airport. Said they were taking me to the rental car agency - which they had no idea where it was. They wanted money to put my bag in the trunk of the car. They wanted $5. It took over an hour of wasted time before i was so frustrated - i simply demanded they take me back to the airport. There was no way to reach the rental car company. The 800# on the booking confirming went to some automated # in Orlando. It was pathetic. It ruined my day actually and b/c of that i ended up at the gross hotel. This is an Expedia issue. Im attempting to get a refund. And will instruct my credit card company to not pay.
The location of the hotel at the beach was good, staff were generally speaking nice but could not communicate with foreign guest, but place was too hold and completely run down. I am not sure if they even know what a 2-3 star hotel looks like, AC was not working, the rooms were in pretty bad shape. . ..
Maybe it's Covid, but the the hotel just feels unprepared for guests. Its a good cheap hotel on the edge of the strip. Bad signage means, even though I've stayed here before, your struggling to find reception, and the rooms. The staff always seem to be doing something other than helping you. But they are friendly and helpful when you catch up with them. Particular thanks to Maria who printed some travel documents out for me. Thankfully the people in the (separately run) restaurant also helped me out and pointed me in the right direction. They let me use their much faster wifi and called the hotel staff for me. Food there was also very good. For the price, worth a stay, but could be so much better.
Old, outdated, run down, did not speak any english, I have some spanish but they would not slow down and try to explain things.
On the beach
There are only 6 or 7 rooms attached to a cool funky restaurant (owned by 2 diff people). Our room was on the breezeway corridor that goes from the street to the beach restaurant. It was clean enough and surprisingly quiet. The neighborhood was full of Italian restaurants that close the street at night and pull out all their tables into the road. Would be cool if men weren’t trying to get my husband “a pretty girl” every time he was alone. The restaurant attached to the “hotel” had a swinging bench at one table, a cool bar, and a couple of swinging beds to hang out on (“pretty women” not allowed).
Great spot right on the beach, only a few rooms so it's small and quiet. Also a nice bar and restaurant on site. Owner is very hands on and all of the staff were personable and professional.
Good nice people. Good food good surf girls and people
Property was very quiet and located right on the beach. Our room was literally 30 steps to crystal clear and calm water. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very nice and very clean. Tasha, the manager, was nice enough to give us a ride to the bus station in Santa Domingo to continue our journey. We will definitely be returning.
This is a Ocean Front property and having breakfast facing the ocean is priceless specially Boca Chica Beach with stunning crystal clear waters.
The Hotel change me an other hotel because had plumb problems with my room, the other hotel The House Boat was close to the first, but I pay $45 more expensive room than the other only for a room not include marine activity. So I was really dissapointted.
It's very clean and very comfortable to go to the beach.
The staffs are very kind. I like here.
It smelled like mold. They didnt allow a girl to go into my room. I had to not only pay for my room but pay for another hotel in order to take my friend in that room. They should provide their restrictions before customers book.
Rolling Stone is perfect for fellow travelers. We found the conditions clean and charming. The service was one of a kind. Angelo made sure we were taken care of, above and beyond, walking with us to local shops, ensuring we got what we needed and wanted to bring home. The paddle boards & snorkels were the perfect morning activity. At night, we loved sitting on the idyllic rooftop among all of the beautiful plants. It sits on the perfect spot on the beach, nestled between the locals and the resort atmosphere. This location is perfect for other like us, who are traveling to experience life and enjoy the beauty of the island.
I felt Ok There, but I didn't like the entrance. The staff was wonderful. I had good time.
So appreciative of the late night pick up at the airport. The restaurant downstairs had a wonderful breakfast. The setting was lovely. The hotel is basic but clean and friendly staff. The security guard was helpful checking us in after midnight.
Great location! Many restaurants and stores near hotel. Right in front of beach
