Pros:

I stayed for a week and used this place as my base to explore the sites in and around Yogyakarta. It is conveniently situated for the airport and Borobudur.
It is a haven of peace and the views are breathtaking. My room (Royal Stone House) was spacious and well appointed, with a fridge, a kettle and a safe deposit box. The bed was very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to ensure that my stay was perfect. The breakfast selection is great. I would stay again. Recommended.

Nice but noisier than you would expect
Pros:

Nice location overlooking the valley. Rooms comfortable however very noisy during the day with goat noise and then in the morning with roosters. Breakfast not included even though it says it is on the booking page

Pros:

Beautiful scenery, the restaurant porch enabled us to catch sunrise, overall ambience was great due to being away from hustle and bustle of the city

Forested hill retreat with
Pros:

Our stay was nice overall, with a couple of caveats:
- the rooms we stayed in are not in the same spot as the restaurant so they had to drive us (5 mins) to the restaurant and back every day
- costs added up and it was a pretty expensive experience all things considered
- there weren't a lot of other guests, making the place feel empty at times
- wifi was spotty

On the plus side, the view is great, the pool is nice, the bed was great, and service was really attentive and nice.

Highly recommend the Monggo chocolate factory / cafe nearby :)
