We received a warm welcome at La Danesa from everyone we met during our stay, the staff are so helpful and friendly. The rooms are superb, beautifully furnished with teak wood and wonderful textiles that compliment the very tasteful decor. We described it as Scandinavian style with Ecuadorean warmth. Everywhere you looked the stylish touches were evident, in the terrace where meals were served there were comfortable seating areas and beautiful gardens to look at, whilst relaxing with a glass of Sangria. The food was delicious and always presented beautifully, the staff were attentive but discreet. Our Hostess Yvonne coordinated all the aspects of our visit fitting in the varied activities that the Hacienda has to offer. She was super, so very welcoming and full of information about the Hacienda and the local environment, she went out of her way to ensure we had the best experience possible. We loved our stay at Hacienda La Danesa, it came at the end of a memorable holiday in the Galápagos Islands so it was important to end our holiday on a high.
We hope to return some time in the future.
