Aerotel Kuala Lumpur

If your plans change, they IGNORE all emails about free cancellation or date changes. If you call to complain and ask for a manager, the front desk will HANG UP on you. Terrible service.

What a terrible experience! First the good points. The hotel is very close to the AirAsia check in at KLIA-2 and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately that is where the good points stop. The hotel has paper thin walls and you hear every door, every lock, every footstep, every voice coming from all directions non-stop for your entire stay. The common shower rooms are a constant noise with people coming and going, waiting in line for their shower and talking loudly incessantly. The shower rooms are filthy with other peoples mess, hair, wet towels. It is disgusting. I’d rather sleep on the floor in the terminal than stay here again.

This hotel is actually located in the terminal we used it between 2 Air Asia flights.
Don’t use Google maps from arrivals as it wanted us do a 2.1km walk when we didn’t even have to leave the building!
It was great for 1night, but if we had better flight times it wouldn’t have been needed.

Loud airport noises coming from the back of the room during the night

Great room, great by the staff by both housekeeping and front desk during check in / out. Comfy bed and I have a great sleep at Aerotel while transit here at the airport before flying to my next destination.

Very convenient at a great location in KLIA2, highly recommended to the travelers that looking for hourly or overnight stay at the airport. Thank you and definitely coming back again.

Pros: Convenient and close to airport, decent price, super helpful staff, and nice buffet breakfast. Cons: bedrooms are in serious need of maintenance, most especially in the bathrooms where the mirrors are all eroded. It seems like this may have been a lovely 5-star hotel many years ago, but has been forgotten about since then. We would stay here again if we came to Palu City.

Weird moldy smell during random times of day/night. No front desk/security staff on the property at night.
Daily loud construction. View of a big wall. Great location.

Room is very compact as expected. The double bed was right against the wall which made it very uncomfortable and difficult to get out in the middle of the night.

Wen I booked it was showing a attached washroom... but it was a shared common wash room... why I should pay 78 dollars for a shared wash room hotel room

I landed in KLIA 1 (international) and took a cab to KLIA 2. My room was for only 12 hours, as I had a domestic flight the next morning.

The room was adequate (as advertised). My particular room didn’t have a separate bathroom, but there were public ones that were constantly cleaned.

When you dim the lights, it’s pretty much pitch black, so you want to use your phone as a clock.

Restaurants around the area were good.

Overall, Aerotel served its purpose as a budget hotel for my need.

On arrival the guest was warned that shared toilet was unsafe. We upgraded to avoid this. During the night (3am) someone tried to enter the room thru connecting door. It is unsafe to stay here

Great property! We used this as a day room as we had a long layover in KL. The hotel is literally outside the airport and in the KLIA shopping mall. Easy to access and quick checkin.
The room was large and super comfortable. They give you lots of little extras in the room so you don't need to carry much.
Remember it is part of the Plaza Premium Lounge so if you have access to these lounges, you can grab free food and drink from the lounge.
The train to KL city is literally there and it takes you to straight to the Sentral.
Worked perfectly for us.

Too noisy for us. Was hard to sleep..
